Our first full winter in Arizona we tried several places. Family in Phoenix so it was a jumping off spot. We loved Tucson, great mountain views, large but not over whelming and lots of activities. Yuma had a great Rv park, not much else to interest us. Plus our allergies we on overtime. The...
Have you looked on Allstays? We live in SB in Phoenix now. There are RV parks in North Phoenix that are not age restricted. Some have restrictions on park model purchase but not RV parking. I am sure you can find a place! Good Luck!
Baking soda. I always keep Stop Quick with me on travels. It is basically steptic pencil in powder. I bought about 30 years ago! Thankfully have not used often.
We used to go south from Kansas City in the winter. I am not sure at whay point campgrounds stay open year round. There are places to stay in Wichita, KS and Oklahoma City, OK. I used the Allstays app to find campgrounds. Once we decided approx distance for the day I would check for campgrounds...
We also use the RVsunshades. We liked the price, ease of installation, no ladder needed, no wet shades if tearing down on rainy day, ability to see out and some help with heat. We do close curtains if direct sun.
We have a class A and travel with Newfoundlands. I purchased a heavy duty step to use when leveling makes the bottom step high off the ground. My old girl used to have problems if it was too high. Other than elderly dogs mine have been fine since the first trip. They love travelling in the RV!
Is this a new behavior? Depending on how old, they may not be able to wait as long to relieve thenselves. Also could be some incontinence if the wet spot is where they were sleeping. Extra walks, throw rugs or towels to cover the floor and maybe confine them to a smaller area with an x-pen? A...
We love Hacienda Rv Park. The downside is parking on small gravel that trackes easily. Big upside close to Messilla and great food. Never has a bad experience at Hacienda park and they are dog friendly
We have travelled with 2 or 3 Newfoundlands. some campfeounds restrict by size or breed, but we have always found a suitable campground to enjoy with our dogs. Normal responsible dog ownership, keeping dogs leashed, cleanup, not tieing out go a long way to being welcome!
