What camera is good for back of TT?

We opted for a furion camera for the rear of our 35 foot fifth wheel. Were planning to use one of the cheaper cameras but the technician pointed out that we would have problems with the video quality. Agree with Larry N on benefits. With over 50k miles towing since installed, we have been...

    Whitehorse to Koidern to Tok

Thanks again for your inputs and advice. It sounds like (if there was decent cell phone service) some enterprising geek could write an app that shares accelerometer data in similar fashion to traffic that would identify locations of bad road conditions... Our only applicable experience was a...

    Whitehorse to Koidern to Tok

Thanks for your responses. Reports from 2022 and 2023 definitely support continued expectations for bad road conditions. We are going to split this into 2 travel days: Whitehorse to Koidern, then Koidern to Tok with a few nites in between just in case. Will definitely check suspension...

    Whitehorse to Koidern to Tok

Planning trip to Alaska later this year from California bay area. Trip reports I have read suggest this section of road will likely be under so much repair that you need to slow down significantly to avoid/minimize damage to your rig. Would appreciate any reports on road conditions and travel...

Approved Quarantine Plan for Canadian trip

Thanks for mentioning the app. Do you know if they take issue with deleting app permissions to virtually all of the data on your phone and your location? Also, do you have to post only within 72 hours of arrival or does earlier work?

Approved Quarantine Plan for Canadian trip

Yes, land crossings only. Obviously, we have a detailed plan for our travels, so I like the approach you describe. I can probably sprinkle in generalizations like social distancing and curbside pickup or delivery of groceries where available to minimize contact.

Approved Quarantine Plan for Canadian trip

Thanks for reviewing the document. We meet the criteria as they stand today, so I guess we will just need to keep up-to-date on that definition.

Approved Quarantine Plan for Canadian trip

Sussex is a stop-over both on the way to and return from North Sydney/Cabot Trail in NS where we will be for several nites. Our trip originates in central California so it's always a balancing act between how long it takes to get somewhere and then how long we can stay.

Approved Quarantine Plan for Canadian trip

That's the way I read it. My question is whether there's a plan that fits travelling in our RV, staying intermittently between 1 and 4 nites at each of the campgrounds we have reserved. My concern is having to wait until we are crossing the border to find out if our "plan" is viable or not.

Approved Quarantine Plan for Canadian trip

We are planning to visit Canada this summer for approximately 3 weeks. We understand that even as fully vaccinated travelers, we are required to have a 14 day quarantine plan that has to be approved at time of entry. We plan to stay at 11 different campgrounds during our visit, starting in...
