    Transmission DipStick. Yes or No

We also have a 2007 Diplomat, that we purchased July 2011, and questioned dealership as to the trans dipstick location. Likewise, there is not one in the rear fill tube, but there is one located on the trans itself, that has to be check via the removal of the hatch cover or by crawling...

    Workhorse recall

Just a note to say; we had a 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer w/ a W-22 Workhorse chassis, that we purchased new, and we had brake problems in the eight years we owned it. The brake system is poorly designed. This brake system cost us a lot of money in repairs that we are still trying to get...

It Finally Happened, Blew a Tire

Good to hear that you & yours are okay, and that damage did not occur. We also have a 2007 Monaco Diplomat and have made arrangements to have the tires replaced before the start of this summer Rving season. Tires look good, But they are just less than 6 years old. Time change...better safe...

    Poor heat from rear furnace...

Thanks Gary for your response, I have had that same thought, re: duct kinked. Have check furnace, runs great, output okay, intake clear, the problem seems to be in the duct(s). Have sealed all gaps in ductwork at furnace.  After winter storage, will be tearing into the rear heat system to find...

Thanks for your input, the wife has said the same, critters nest in the duct work, will check in spring when the motor home comes out storage.

    Poor heat from rear furnace...

The Rv is a 2007 Monaco Diplomat 38 PDQ. Have had it to a dealer but they could not address the problem...tried but only marginally increased flow. They are only two vents, one less than two feet away from furnace, in the bathroom area, and the other being about four feet away in the bedroom...

    1st time I drove a DP. Help me ! Am I hooked?

In 2003 we purchased our first class "a", a new Holiday Rambler Vacationer. At the time we were also looking at the Neptune, which is a DP, but did not drive it. Could not justify the $30,000 more for the diesel rig. In my mind, we could buy a lot of gasoline for the $30,000. Well after 8 years...

    Antique Motor Home Project

The car setting next to the Rv is an Edsel, I would venture to say a 1958,  ranger model.

    Replacing Tires Due to Age?????

We purchased our present MH, a pre-owned 2007 Diplomat, last July,2011, and we are planning on replacing all the tires this April 2012. They are not cheap by any means, but the peace of mind of having new tires under you for our future travels is just one less item to be concerned about. The...
