Does having a sleep number bed solve the bed making problem? Can you lift the head up all the way, hook the fitted sheet on the corners then lay it down without being a gymnast?
Drain the tank then remove the valve. 4 bolts hold it in place. clean everything and replace with a new valve from amazon. You don't need a new valve but good to do since you have it out.
Please tell me that you did not exchange tanks that you owned on your trailer with exchange tanks. If you have a Suburban WH then there is a switch outside behind the WH cover bottom left side that must be on. There is also a breaker inside that must be on.
1st, you need a voltmeter and someone that knows how to use it! Verify if you have voltage on the disconnect or not. Also, Check the "Reverse Polarity Fuses."
I don't know what black adaptors you are talking about. If it is one of those hockey puck adaptors, No they are junk. They get hot and melt. You need a 2' dogbone. Stay away from Camping World. Amazon is your friend.
