The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
That is interesting as both the freezer and the fridge get their "cold" from the same place. The cold does show up first in the freezer and it should stay cold in the freezer longer than the fridge if the unit quits working entirely.
The other hard part in troubleshooting these guys is that it...
I 2nd Google maps. I know an I-phone can track android - and assume it would work the other way too. When the tracked person gives the permission they can define how long it lasts or set to infinate.

Went to an FMCA national rally eariler this year in Tuscon, and yes, it is an older crowd. My parents are members and were there volunteering. I was in the area and always like checking out RV's so spent a day.
BUT - now that I am going to be working from the road much more, I ended up...
It's part of my spring process - and there is a lot of good advice here. I agree with others that if you are on a municipal system and use the RV pretty regularly it probably isn't needed. Maybe if it has sat unused for a few months, but city water has chlorine and should keep things safe...
Yeah, any TV you can make work in the space is fine. The only exception I can think of is some units have 12V DC powered TV's......in which case you'll need a DC TV and those aren't all that common.

You can accomplish the same thing inside of the x-fer switch by jumping the neutral to the ground on the generator input side. (Your mileage may vary, I'm not an electrician)
Appropriateness of the topic aside, I recently converted my "EARLY" Honda EU2000i to dual fuel successfully. I say successfully as most of the kits out there call out the early models as not supported, so when I found this and it worked I was super psyched. Had I not found this kit I likely...
I had a 30 or so foot flat run at our last sticks and bricks. Used the Sewer Solution and some PVC pipe. It's a water powered macerator and can handle a little bit of uphill if needed.
Ours is a Progressive Hardwired as well - we don't use campgrounds much and it hasn't "fired" on the home connection but when/if it does it likely will have more than paid for itself.
You talked a lot about lightning - remember that nothing will protect you in a direct or very close strike...
Happens, but I don't sweat it. But for camping most of my cooking is done off the campers regulator and whatever the grill has is removed. I don't like carrying extra propane bottles :)

If you talking about a home fridge - look at the models that list "Cabinet" depth. They are typically 30" deep vs the "36" or more for a standard unit.

I was thinking Lake Jacob as well, it's been a few years since we've traveled that area, but my memory says they had a pretty good set of services there.
There is also the Demotte campground which on the Recreation.gov site says it has drinking water and is only 7 miles from the Rim. Anyone...
I'm looking into RV Airflow Systems as I think their product will work on my unit. When I install it, I'll take before and after DB reading from a consistent location just too see. My motivation the purchase is more about increased airflow/efficiency than noise, but quieter is always nicer...
There could be a problem with the vent to the roof. The black tank has a PVC pipe that goes from the tank to the roof for venting purposes. If this is clogged or below the "water" level in the tank you will get stank in the camper....
If you're filling the tank to 2/3'rds before dumping...
