suggestions for Burien WA rv parks

Well, I wish I had a positive report. I was told that a spot would not be available until a week after my arrivial so I just booked a hotel for a week. I arrived here on the appointed day but still no place for me. I have spent the last week just parked in the grass with no hookups available...

suggestions for Burien WA rv parks

I just spoke with Jake and got a physical address. I will be there Monday and report back on what I find. Thanks again, it is only 10 minutes from where I will be working!

suggestions for Burien WA rv parks

This park you mention is very interesting to me. I have searched google every way I can think of and found nothing. Do you have a link or phone number perhaps? I would like to check it out further. Thanks for the tip!

suggestions for Burien WA rv parks

Thank you. I will check them out. I am really looking forward to being there. I have never been to WA but spent 6 months in OR a year ago and loved it. I am hoping it will be similar.

suggestions for Burien WA rv parks

Thanks in advance! I haven't been around much but still fulltiming for work in my 18' toy hauler. I just accepted a 3 month minimum contract in Burien, just south of Seattle. I am hoping for suggestions in or near Burien. Anyone ever camped in the area? There are several options when I google it...

    phantom radio/cd player?

Well that would make a lot more sense, now wouldn't it! Sorry, I had a bit of a moment when I last answered. I am at work now. I will check when I get back to camp. Geesh, I feel really foolish right now.  :-[

    phantom radio/cd player?

It is a 2012 work and play toy hauler by forest river. I believe it an 18ec or something like.

    phantom radio/cd player?

The radio that came with my unit has started turning itself on several times a day. It does have a clock but no alarm I am aware of and I don't think an accidental alarm would be the culprit or it would just be once a day at the same time everyday. I am concerned I may have a significant...

    almost homeless!

I see it as a lesser evil than paying rent. I didn't mind making the payments when I lived in it. I didn't buy something with high payments. I remember my banker saying, "you know, you can buy a lot more house than this" to which I replied "just because you can do something doesn't mean you...

    almost homeless!

I like the way you think but my home wont be my toyhauler. It is just where I will live until it is finally time for me to go home. Although I may upgrade to something a bit bigger than 18 feet. I am thinking of really living large and splurging on a 24 footer!

    almost homeless!

In a good way. I have been trying to sell my s/b for 2 years now. I finally have a contract on it and we are on track to close by the end of the month. It will be such a blessing to get to stop making mortgage payments on something I never even see anymore!

    "Supplementing income"...

No idea what your background is but the medical field is highly conducive to an rv lifestyle. The company I work for is a temp traveling company that does nationwide placements. They hire lab techs (that is what I do), nurses, x ray techs, physical therapists, speech language pathologists and...

    Newmar Canyon Star Toyhauler

What a timely thread! I was logging to post something similar so I will tag onto yours rather than start something new. I have been fulltiming since october '12 in a small bumper pull toy hauler. After 2 years, I finally have a contract on my stick and brick and if it goes through, I will be in...

How small is the RV that you're fulltiming in?

I fulltime in an 18 foot bumber pull work and play and am happy as a clam going on 18 months. I think I would be lost in a bigger place but I have recently been looking at videos of class a toy haulers. When I eventually sell my homestead in MO, I will likely move up to a bigger rig because I...
