    Firearms and Full timing

I know this is an old topic, but here is some info relative to the subject of full time RVers registering a gun: My state of residence is SD, through America's Mailbox. It's on my drivers license. I can vote, register my vehicles and get auto insurance there. I attempted to buy a gun in SD at...

    Lost Zone 1

I did a search, but I didn't find anything to help me out. Here's my problem: On my Duo Therm Comfort Control panel, 5 buttons, I have Zones 1 and 2. Zone 1 - Front A/C - Heat Pump - Fan - Furnace Zone 2 - Back A/C - Heat Pump - Fan I took the RV out of storage and fired it up. I noticed that...

    Electrical Problem

Found another hydrometer. It's 80 degrees outside and the batteries have been off the charger for about an hour or so. Results: 2 batteries - all cells are right at 1.25, in the fair range, almost in the green (good). 2 batteries - all cells in the red So, since I started off finding one...

    Water heater issue

Yi! Am I showing my age? Yep, it's been a few years since I replaced one. *Thinking* It may have been in the 80's.

    Electrical Problem

I have a meter somewhere. It's not a digital read-out though. I'll find it. I tested it with the ball tester when I unplugged just to see. 2 batteries had 3 or more balls floating in all cells. 2 batteries had 2 or less in all cells. Also, before I tested, I tried the lights for a minute or so...

    Water heater issue

All I've seen had separate components for the thermocouple and igniter. Guess I learned something new.

    Water heater issue

In my experience with that problem, replacing the thermocouple solved it.

Thanks, Gary. I'll unplug from the house, let them set a couple of hours, then check.

    Electrical Problem

It's pouring down rain this morning, so I guess the batteries will get more charging time before I test them. I found one of those little battery testers with the 4 colored balls in it. Are those really any good for testing batteries. Not sure how to read it either. I can't find anything on...

    Electrical Problem

So, I could get by on 2 12v batteries. But, sounds like I would be much better off with 2 1250CCA 6v batteries? What can you run for a few days with the 2-6s? ...I did a search for 1250CCA and only came up with 12v batteries?

    Electrical Problem

Believe me, they will be tested once a month. Either these or new ones if I have to buy some more. We rarely boondock. I mainly use the batteries to keep the electrical part of the fridge running while moving as I found out it does also need a little electric even when on gas. (Not a problem...

    Electrical Problem

Okay, got it open. I had to grind off the bolts that held the tray to the frame on one side. I'll look at that later. There are 4 Powertron 2200g batteries. 6 volt. One of them had a cable disconnected from one side. It was just laying there and it looks like it occasionally made contact as part...

    Electrical Problem

Yikes. There's like 6 batteries tied together in there. I'm having a problem pulling out the tray that holds the batteries. There's two catches in front that I open, but it still won't pull out. Am I missing something or should I force it? My wife is the one that always forces things and breaks...

    Electrical Problem

Seems as though as soon as I fix one thing, another problem raises it's ugly head. You've all been so good at helping find solutions in the past, so I thought I'd ask one more time. 2003 National Dolphin Whenever I am on shore power or generator, everything works fine. The main panel shows the...

    Orlando

Oh, man! Now I gotta see the Pets Ahoy Show. Thanks. I'll check out that site and see if I can come up with that guide. I know you've heard this before' "So much to do, so little time". Very appropriate saying for Orlando.
