    Florida

LOL...DonTom....The Everglades might be right up your alley.....you sound like a true Outback Crocodile Dundy. Having no plan as a GC is like driving at night with no headlights for me. I used to be able to travel like you and not worry about where I land BUT I would have to lie to the wifey and...

    House batteries

These were installed by the Winnebago factory as they still had the Winnebago sticker on them and were the AGM series 31.....supposedly the best ($240/). I am the 3rd owner of this rig so not sure how they maintained them before I took possession. I have always been to told "use the batteries"...

    Florida

DonTom, as a 6th gen native, we welcome everyone BUT Florida has changed alot in the past 3-4 years passing up New York in population. From about Mid-Oct thru Mid-May, most RV parks fill up with snow birds here for the Winter and peaks in Feb. You will need to get on the phone soon and plot your...

    DISH - Wally + Tailgater

Thanks ChasA & Gary....gonna get back on it asap. I did not see a TV switch for the correct HDMI port so will try that first......then will hook to TV directly and verify the Wally is broadcasting a signal. Process of illimination I assume. I did not get a tri-pod to set the Tailgater on and I...

    Fresh water tank concern

Gary, Marty, & John, very much appreciate your input. !! Called Winnebago customer help desh today and the gentleman seemed to point towards a faulty valve. He directed me to their 3D virtual schematics and so I could really spin the plumbing design around and see how the plumbing is configured...

    What would you buy?

We have a 1995 YJ Jeep Wrangler: Rio Grande, manual tranny of course with lighter softtop. Removed the small rear seat for our Lab to ride along when we take a day trip away from the rig. The V10 Ford gas engine pulls it find...a little slow uphill compared to the DP's but we are usually in no...

    DISH - Wally + Tailgater

Thanks ChasA, I am hooked up to the outside and inside coax's correctly but not so sure about the HDMI from the Wally into the Matrix 4x4. ?? I hope DISH dosen't expect us to run the HDMI from the Wally direct to the TV, otherwise that would negate the use of the Matrix 4x4. I also wonder is the...

    Fresh water tank concern

Thanks SargeW....if you are correct....that would be a huge relief. I wonder if leaving the fill door open for a few minutes would prevent it from syphoning out the over flow.?? Any other input is appreciated by all.

    Fresh water tank concern

Filled my Winnebago 37F and it over filled and water was pouring out from somewhere. Fried said they have an over-flow valve and that no harm done so we went forward using the fresh stored water and city water when parked. Weeks later i saw the fresh water tank was down to 1/3 so I filled it...

    DISH - Wally + Tailgater

Just purchased a DISH Tailgator with the Wally receiver for our Winnebago 37F, The Winne comes with a Matrix 4x4 HDMI hub that I am trying to utilize with the Wally/Tailgator for all 3 TV's with this rig. No luck so far.....have everything hooker up but the main TV in the main lounge area...

    Spare tire

IMHO....Unless you are BRAVE and have the right tools, don't even try to change a Class A tire....Purchase a road side hazard policy thru Good Sam, AAA, American RV (sp?), or the like and call them when you have an issue. Much safer along crazy highways with everyone texting and driving.

    Painting Decals

Another idea is to sand them off and find a "full wrap" company that can custom anything that you can imagine. We just did that with a 2006 Hurricane SunDeck boat that had decals that were completely oxidized ans so using a heat gun and plastic blades, we got most off and lightly sanded smooth...

    What would you buy?

Agree with Don. We went to 2 large RV shows before deciding on a Class A and we pull a very light Jeep Wrangler.....meets our current lifestyle. We've owned all types and had fun with all BUT each met our needs at that time....e.g. young kids, older kids, NO KIDS (;-'). It sounds like you may...

    House batteries

OK, back to everyone....as suspected.....a simple thing as the main house battery switch by the door. This rig have a switch for the (4) house/coach batteries and one for the (1) chassis battery. Now we are ready to roll......hoping the Duracell brand battery gives us 5 years as did the NAPA...
