Some of us use chemicals in the black tank, regardless if it is new or not. Different strokes, etc.
We don't use any chemicals in the gray tank - nothing except a bleach solution in the freshwater tank when we sanitize it.
I had the occasion to stay at a place called Danang for a couple of days (back in '66) - you wouldn't have believed the sound from F4C Phantoms taking off with the afterburners lit. Unreal.

I'm still trying to understand those two types of power. I've seen graphic representations of HP and torque curves - I assume they're plotted using a dynamometer. How does a dyno isolate/measure the two different types?
Has your husband asked rhetorical questions like, "what could go wrong?" or "how hard could it be?"?
If so, he's about to find out.
"Camp Driveway" is good, but if you went to a regular campground you would have other RVers around who could help you. If you wanted help, that is.
I had our pump off when I did that. Didn't matter - there was still some pressure in there. Same result. I should have learned from previous times - but no......
I want to continue doing that procedure - just having my face off to the side. Think I'll remember? Naaaahhhhh.......
