Anyone know where I can buy new slider windows to add to my 1962 GM Bus Conversion? Looking to add a window near the dinette in our 4106..... 36"x16" ... max size.... Looking for pre-made windows not custom ( little pricey)

Well the new project is in the driveway!!!! We installed a converter/battery charger yesterday afternoon. First small project done at least.

It has the Spicer 4 speed. And it was actually made for an upstate NY transit company.

Just went & checked it out. Motor runs strong, brakes are fresh, everything seems to be mechanically sound. Interior is completely finished just needs to be personalized a little for our liking. Drivable condition. Many extra parts included, worked a better deal than asking price. Will update...

So my husband & I are considering buying a 1962 GM bus ( we currently have an 84 class C). It needs a little cosmetic TLC, interior is about 95% there. ( just needs to be changed up to suit our likes). The exterior needs to be buffed out & painted. The asking price is $4,000, does that sound...

Considering I  live in the foothills of the Catskills ( about 4 miles to the nearest store) that anything north is pretty much upstate.

Forgot to add that the man we were speaking to was in fact the owner. His picture was in the post star article (after he was arrested) that I posted.

We were actually standing outside of the door to the bar & could see the man who we were speaking to on the phone. Also heard him laughing and telling the people in the bar what he said to us.

We have 2 dogs. One is a pug/lhaso mix - Gizmo (30lbs) & the other is an american bulldog - Ozzy (70 lbs). No major problems with them travelling in our 23' class C. (Had 4 people & the 2 dogs on our main summer trip). Only issue we have is that Ozzy is kind of nervous with strangers & Gizmo...

I thought the same thing, but please don't categorize the rest of upstate ny by this article. Most of us are fairly normal  :)
