I'm currently towing my 27 Ft. #6000 with my 5.3 Yukon XL. It works fine, but it's getting a little old and i"m thinking of buying a 5.7 Tundra. I would appreciate any info. Thanks Hugo.
Jeff, thanks for the reply. I went on the Modetic Awning website and think I found my answer. I don't want to mess with the awning till I have to. I just want to know how to override my electrical items.
I have a 2010 Keystone Outback 270BH. I'm trying to figure out how to manually retract my Dometic electric awning should it fail. Any info. would be great. Thanks Hugo.
My original post was a question and only a question, and some answered it. It was not pro or anti gun. Its all the people that chimmed in with their personnal beliefs that turned this into a political debate. I don't look down at people who dont like guns. I happen to like them and thats my...
Thanks alot for all the replys and comments. As I am a law abiding citizen I will keep my legal gun, truck, camper and money in the US. Canada can keep their illegal smuggled guns there. All are happy.
I have no problem with the Canada Border Service doing their job, but obviously they are doing a lousy job when crimes with smuggled guns are still being commited. It's not the guy declaring their handgun doing the crimes. By the way like I said before if I was going to Alaska I could...
Im going on a trip thru the US and a part of Canada. Im going into (or was going) Canada somewhere in Utah and coming back in Washington. Canada does not allow handguns so how can I get my gun from Utah to the campgroung in Washington or should I just skip Canada?? Thanks. :)
I will be going on a 70 day road trip statrting approx. Aug. 12 God willing. The wife and I will be going from Florida out west and some of Canada. I'm guessing it will be about 12,000 miles give or take a few. How do you handle trailer and vehicle maintenance while on the road. How do you...
I have a 27 ft. travel trailer #5900 dry and about #7200 loaded. I'm planning on getting a Tundra 5.7l 4x4 4.3 rear end with a towing capacity of #10400. Do you think this will be enough to go out west and what MPG shoulg I expect while towing? Thanks Hugo. :)
On one of my last trips one of the trailer tires locked up. I pulled over, put the vehicle in reverse, and after backing up a little the brake/wheel unlocked. I did not have any more problems with that tire after that. I did have to get a new tire becuase it went bald on the side that dragged...
I'm getting 9-10 with my Yukon XL now, but it's only rated for #7400 and it has about 160k miles. I'm retiring at the end of July and want to get a new/newer vehicle. I dont want to get into a diesel because it will be used around town more than for towing. I just don't want to get a truck that...
