If it was a loose wire, you may be talking about the thermostat sensor.

    "Bouncy ride"

After you weight you vehicle and inflate bags and tires properly and still have a bumpy ride, check your stabilizer shock, ball joints and upper arm rods. Also adjust your steering components. It took me some time and money to figure out that stability and ride comfort is due to many factors in...

    Lights flickering on 82 Winnebago

I will swcond on the loose ground but also would suspect the light switch itself. before buying any parts, clean connector leads of light switch on both ends. Also look for the GROUND POST under the dashboard by the firewall and do the same. If all fails, then it may be time for a new light switch.

Can I plug 30 amp into a house outlet?

just get the adapter from walmart. connect it to the same circuit that your outside lights and garage lights are on, just in case you trip the breaker. You can turn A/C, fridge, lights and a fan but I would not recomend turning the microwave or a vacuum cleaner cause then for sure you will tripp...

Adding a sleeping bunk between the 2 front seats

Have you thought about a drawer like bunk attached to the existing one? how much head clearance do you have while driving? If you have enough, then build yourselve another bunk box similar to the one you have (5/8" plywood should be strong enough) and use the brackets holding your bunkbed to...

Water leaks on 89 Winnebago... couldn't fix myself

Have you sealed the front marking lights, the ones on top? that is where I found my leaks. for the back, what configuration do you have? I found that mine were leaking thru the corners where the rubber seal was not present anymore due to heat shrinkage.

Thoughts on buying an older coach

I went thru the exact same thing you went thru. I have a 1988 Winnebago Elandan. Two summers and about 3,000dls later, is almost back to specs. Except for the oxidation factor which I decided to let it erode by itself thru constant washes. Painting it would cost me double of what I paid for the...

    Magnetek Power Converter Fan Question

The converter has a thermistor. When it reaches a certain temperature, it turns the fan on, so the converter won't overheat. If you want to test it, turn on all of the lights and other things that draw current. depending on your outside temp, the fan will turn on eventually, then off when the...

    analog to digital

What he said. Cable TV still send its signals in analog format fo the lower frequency channels, and digital for the same channels at the higher range as required by the Govt. Almost all TV's have a setting to change aspect ratio, screen size or screen zoom to fill the gaps.

    dash switches?

Ok, I have a 1988 Winnebago Elandan 28ft, which I want to say is the exact same vehicle as yours but with the winnebago stamp. If you can post some pictures of the dashboard, it would help greatly, but I'm almost sure they are the same. Well, lets go down the list: Battery Condition = Tells you...

    Painting our RV ourselves?

Wow! you go girl! I thought about doing the same thing to my 1988 Elandan, but after I washed the whole thing, I realized the amount of work at hand and backed up. If you are up to the task, I had thought about sand blasting the whole thing. Make sure the windows and seals are well protected...

99% sure is fiberglass. The previous owner might have put a residencial roof coating on it, to deflect UV rays and heat.
