My friend has a 85' prowler and the pilot light on the hot water heater won't stay lit. Heats up about half of a tank and then goes out. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
Even though Wisconsin has been hotter than usual, we managed to get another section of walling up. I do have to say progress is slow at this point. But should pick up once the kids go back to school. I have the updates written into a blog (I'm sure you have noticed). Doing this makes it...
Well like I had mentioned that we had started getting the walls up on the Mallard. It is starting to look like a camper again.
Check out my pics. I have re-posted the before pic of the dinette area, as I have forgotten what it even looked like when we started this whole project. It's not...
Well we have made some progress on getting insulation and wall panels up. We have 3 walls insulated and panels in place. Still need trim on those walls but that will come later. We ran out of panels so we are going tonight to get more. We can only get 5 at a time as we have a mini van and...
Yeah I hope so, the itching isn't even the problem really. Not really sure what it is because it's not that hard. But we decided to do it sections. Instead of insulating everything all at once. I am doing a wall, then cutting the panelling, making sure they fit and then staining and sealing...
Sorry I haven't been on here in a while but, things got crazy and you all know that we were at a stand still for a little bit. But I updated my blog to include some pics of the stud replacements that we did. Check it out...

We have begun the insulation process but...

Time on the river can be beautiful here. Winona is only about a half hour away from where I live (Independence). My mom and some of her siblings actually camp in Winona. We go to Winona every other week on payday to pick up supplies...lol.
Callie is going to be worked on...
rjf7g - LOL...it's just a thought at this point. Not being able to work on it has made the mind wander.
sew2bhappy - between LaCrosse and Eau Claire.
We are hoping that now that we have all the appropriate tools needed, we can rock and roll on it. Wednesday is my day off and it's suppose...
We are at a stand still right now with the Mallard. Mainly due to weather, because here in Wisconsin, you just never know what you are going to get. It has been cold and rainy all week, and wouldn't you know it. We don't work this weekend and it's suppose to be nice today and Sunday but we...
Well, we got the lumber needed for replacing the studs and window frames that were damaged due to water. The stripping down of the camper revealed a few more areas than we expected. But overall, not as bad as it could have been being the camper is 26 yrs old and in 1985 they didn't use...
It was curtain, that ran on a track. We tucked in the curtain into the tub when using it. This did not solve the problem with water running out by the seat area. I think we will doing something different with that, just not sure what it will be yet. I do know it will still be a curtain though.
Dennis - very good idea. We were already thinking of things like that. Shelving, placement of outlet and switches, etc. Thank you, I may have forgotten all about it. There is so much to think about, but I like that.
Wolf Pack Fan - we sure will be keeping up with the posts. The camper remodel is fun and so is this forum and blogging about it. I just blog it so I can put it on here and on Facebook for our friends and family that don't live near us. What your barber is doing sounds really cool. ...
