    Connectivity on the Road

Ah, thanks. I hadn't noticed the "Advanced Search" link before. I found this thread ( http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php?topic=5411.0 ) which is really awesome, thanks.

    Your choice of browser?

This is a poll I find interesting everywhere I go. Now, there are certain advantages and disadvantages to just about all of these browsers, which I'll list below: Firefox One of the most popular browsers. Open Source. Easily and heavily customizable. But it can get heavy and suck up CPU Opera...

    Lightning Photo

Holy cow! That is awesome. The first picture looks like something taken off the special effects of a high budget movie. The second one's equally spectacular. I suppose it's mostly because of your long exposure time of course. The colour of the sky looks really good!

    nature photos

The pictures of the flower and the bee are really awesome. I can imagine how good they'll look in high-res. They're probably wallpaper-worthy, they're that good! And it's amazing that you got such an awesome camera off freecycle. You must have been really lucky to have got something like that...

The unexpected hazards of RV living...

More hazards to keep in mind on the road. Thanks for sharing your experiences, guys. On the one hand, it's a little intimidating to think about everything you have to keep in mind when on the road, but on the other hand, it's better to learn through others' (bad) experiences than to go through...

    r/c aircraft

I've always wished I had an r/c airplane, at least a small toy model, but I haven't had such luck. I've flown friends' planes once or twice though. It's a lot of fun. Why don't you post some pictures of your models for us?

    (Folk) Music

One of the things I've been wanting to do on this trip is to try to find local music at every place I go and try to record some of it for myself and my friends back home. That's because I love music and it'd probably be an awesome collection. Now, there are obvious problems. One, I've never...

    Connectivity on the Road

I'm a little curious as to how to remain connected while on the road. Obviously, public telephones are an option, but I'll be taking my laptop along with me. How easy is it to find and use public wi-fi networks? Also, it is safe to use public wi-fi?

    Photography on the Road

I might be going on my first ever RV Road Trip. Now obviously, I'll be taking a camera for photos. I have a Sony Cybershot digital camera with a 1 Gig Memory Stick. I'll also be taking my laptop with me so that I can keep transferring photos onto the laptop and freeing up space. That's the idea...

Thanks for the info, RV Roamer. I'm going to check out that site now! :)

    a cat in a motorhome

Ha, John, your cats really are amusing. :P AS dave, you're right too. Some dogs I know are so well-trained...or rather, so well-behaved that it seriously astounds me. One of my dad's friends has a dog who never barks  loudly around people. He doesn't lick either. And he's a German Shepherd!

What Firefox extensions do you use?

Well, a thread like this, wherever I go, always brings up mentions of extensions that I need to check out. One of them is the disable Backspace thing. That's something that happens quite often to me. As for Tab Mix Plus, really, the pre-release is working just fine. I've installed it on my FF...

    How to find Campgrounds

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I just checked out http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ and it's quite helpful. I'm also going to go through the Woodalls directory, and of course, Google is always a friend :)

What RV Type for a Beginner?

I just checked out the "RV Types" link you have on the top here, as well as the picture of the Class C you have there. To be honest, initially, it looked like that might not be able to take 4 adults on board, but since I know next to nothing about RV's, I'll take your advice. Is there anything...

    Registry Repair software

For some time, I used to use Tune-Up utilities. It's a small bundle of utilities that are really helpful ranging from Registry Cleaner to Defragmenter, System Restore, etc. It's not free though. As for the current price, I think it's close to ... wow 50$...hmm...
