NADA (Blue Book) pricing and what did you pay?

For the most part books like NADA mean almost nothing. They use a depreciation number from new and call that the value. What counts is supply and demand for what one has and do you feel good about what you got for the price you paid.

    single vs. dual rear wheels...

A single wheel is just fine if the weight factor is covered for your trail. But a dual wheel truck will always be more stable in all conditions, is it needed, not always but over kill is much better to have than just enough.

A Question for the "Horsepower" Folks

Now for the torque questions, you can have a mass of torque as say applied when your two hands are pushing against each other, there will not be any horse power until there is movement in one direction or another, think about that some.

In the market for a small A

This is a can of worms concerning slide outs. I my self do not like them overall, yea you have more room but all the things you bring up and more are all true also. Buy what you like and forget what others like and say.

Car Dolly, Brakes or no brakes?

Flat towing is the way to go if your car can be flat towed. A surge brake is cheap and works well, a Ready Brake system is only about 200 bucks and is simple to install also check them out.

Generator AC vs Engine AC - Efficiency

Exactly Gary why care about this. If the small amount of fuel/cost makes a difference to one maybe they should be in a car and get a motel! IMHO

    Use dryer circuit for RV

Also by the sounds of what you say you have two AC's. I think it very iffy that you can run both AC's on 30amp service, most two AC systems are 50 amp service.

    Use dryer circuit for RV

Don't do it!  Your dryer circuit is 220V your RV is 115V, yea I know your dryer is 30 amps and your RV maybe 30amps but wrong voltage.

We are horrible at backing into our site!!!

All good info. One confusing thing is that looking in your mirrors requires a different in put from you than if you turn and look back, use the mirror and forget about looking back, listen to your spotter!

You have a fire risk with any item that generates heat, propane/electrical/. Heat + fuel+ air you could have a problem. If your unit is full of leaves or any other kind of fuel you can have the problem, is propane/flame more likely to catch fire than an electrical heating unit in the refer...

    Priming Oil and Fuel Filters

Most people will have the oil changed for them, do you really think that where they take them really pre fill an oil filter?! Do you really think their engines do not last as long as someone at home pre filling their filters?
