    1/2 ton towable 5th wheels

This is my third season towing a Keystone Cougar 26-SAB 5W with a 2011 Tundra. I've had no issues so far. Because many of Massachusetts' highways merit 3rd-world status, I had a local garage install a set of Air-Lift air bags. The air bags might not be necessary, but I figure they save the...

Problem with Suburban LP Gas Furnace not Staying ON

Thank you very much. The troubleshooting booklet is very informative.

Problem with Suburban LP Gas Furnace not Staying ON

The furnace in my 2-year-old 5th wheel comes on initially when I turn on the thermostat, but often stops after running for around 30 seconds. I can usually get it to come on and stay on, but it can take 3 or 4 cycles of turning the thermostat on and off (and waiting a few minutes in between)...

question about 1996 aerolite 21rb travel trailer

I owned one of those (bought new in 1996). As I recall, with the gas bottles open, all I had to do was set the thermostat and the  furnace would kick in automatically. The furnace was very good, as I recall.

Looking for a Good Campground in or Near the NH White Mountains

I recently read an article about great trout streams in the NH White Mountains. Can folks recommend a good campground or two up that way?

    Air Bag Question

I just had air bags installed on my 2012 Tundra TRD 4x4. (Air-Lift Load-Lifter 5000). I'm curious about how much I should inflate them when I tow my 5W. The trailer, a Cougar X-Lite 26SAB, has a "hitch weight" of about 1200 pounds -- which I assume to mean a pin weight. I towed it last season...

    Helper Springs for Toyota Tundra

I pull my 5W Cougar X-Lite 26 SAV with a 2011 Tundra Double Cab, which has the 5.7-liter V8 and TRD off-road package. The Tundra pulls and stops the Cougar easily, but I'm thinking of installing helper springs for when the roads get choppy. There doesn't appear to be a big selection for the...

RV Camping on Martha's Vineyard (MA)

Hi Folks, I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at Martha's Vineyard Family Campground. It looks like a wonderful destination. I'm also curious about the logistics/convenience of ferrying a PU and 30' 5th wheel to the island. It's a potential 20th anniversary getaway (for 2012)! Thanks.

    2011 Tundra DC+SR5 Towing & Ultralight 5th Wheel Trailer??

The 24 RLS looks very similar, except for the rear sleeper as an option. My wife loves the slide-out wardrobe in the bedroom, and the self-contained bathroom. We're waiting for warmer weather to take it on it's maiden trip ... hopefully by mid-April! Jayco also makes a lightweight Eagle...

    2011 Tundra DC+SR5 Towing & Ultralight 5th Wheel Trailer??

I've got a 2011 Tundra Double Cab 5.7 4x4, and just bought a Cougar X-Lite 26 SAB 5th wheel. Based on the Tundra's and Cougar's specs, it's a good match. My brother-in-law, however, pointed out that the Tundra has D-rated tires, and pointed out that E-rated tires are were always recommended for...
