Do you need leveling blocks with an auto leveling system?

I am afraid I left out a key bit of info, since I was in the TT 5th wheel section, I thought I did not need to mention it. We will be purchasing a 5th wheel, not a MH. So what I should have said was with a 5th wheel do you need leveling blocks under tires when using an auto level system. I am...

    Goose Neck Vs 5th wheel

I posed this very question to my local Jayco dealer, he said adapters will void the Jayco Warranty, however, there is a solution according to them. Replace the factory pin box with a Reese 94622 2-5/16 gooseneck RV coupler box. This way, per the Jayco dealer, you will not void your warranty.

Do you need leveling blocks with an auto leveling system?

Thanks Tom, Given the expense of these units I was concerned, leveling blocks under the feet make perfect sence.

Do you need leveling blocks with an auto leveling system?

Hello All, We have never had a RV with an Auto level system, so here's my question. Is it best to use leveling blocks under the tires? The reason I ask is a concern of putting too much stain on the leveling system . I have read that wheel chocks are usually used, but can't find anything about...

Full timing in a 2015 Jayco Pinnacle, your thoughts?

Great responses!! This is very helpful. Martin 2340-We have looked at MH, the only ones that fit (floor Plan) were well out of our price range, sadly enough I have a perfect toad, 1999 Jeep Box Cherokee 4X4. Gary-Yep I know, overkill and you are correct, but I sold Ram trucks and Sprinter vans...

Full timing in a 2015 Jayco Pinnacle, your thoughts?

Good point Gary, yes a used front living seems to be hard to find, perhaps I will go that route when we are ready, still open to ideas. Here are the "must Haves" Front Living 5th wheel, so far we really like the Jayco Pinnacle, the Front Living room gives us the best option for our intended...

Full timing in a 2015 Jayco Pinnacle, your thoughts?

Thanks Gary, with our Budget we cant go higher ($$$) than the Jayco Pinnacle. We are looking for quality in the 60K to 80K range. Thanks Kim, here is additional info, 2 adults, 1 small dog, tow vehicle will be either a Dodge 4500 or 5500 crew cab with a hauler bed. The front living room is our...

Full timing in a 2015 Jayco Pinnacle, your thoughts?

Hello All, We are considering the Jayco Pinnacle for full timing, I would like to get some input, good choice? bad choice? pros and cons? We have had two slide in campers and two TT's, this will be our first 5th wheel. Thank you

    Looking for input on makes/models

Thank you for your input, we have not looked at the Highland Ridge/Open Range, nice layout, we like the idea of the second couch in the Jayco, and Grand Design for guests. The Grand Design has a MSRP of 10K more than the Jayco, I am having trouble justifying that one. So far I hear good about...

    Just saying "Hi"

Hi Gordon, I know how you feel about tire kicking, we too are in the market (soon) and will get a fifth wheel, we have had 2 TT's and 2 slide in campers. our only "full timing" was between duty stations while on active duty. This forum has many useful tips, enjoy the research, it will pay off...
