    What could have caused this.

I put it all together myself and took it to the RV dealer I bought our tt through. They adjusted the hitch down a bit and tilted the ball some. Showed me how many links to use and off I went.

    What could have caused this.

He said it was lose when I unhooked it. Doesn't explain the second one getting bent and it went straight to a campsite from the dealer. No backing.

    What could have caused this.

I towed my tt to dealer I bought it from for work on the water heater. I had to unhook it so they could use a tractor to take it to the garage. When the work was finished I was hooking things back up and noticed one of my Reese snap up brackets was all bent up. I showed the service manager and...

Having a hard time with what hitch

Got the hitch together and seems to be working fine. I have heard and can confirm that the bars rubbing on the cam parts of the anti sway sure make a noise when making turns. Sounds like something is coming apart.  :-\

Having a hard time with what hitch

I did purchase the larger mount as you linked to. I am fortunate in that there is all the hardware for a Reese anti sway already on the TT. Add some bars and whatever and I should be good to go.

Having a hard time with what hitch

Yea I was looking at the cheap stores and found the lower rated 2 5/16" ball. The higher capacity balls didn't fit my existing ball mount. I appreciate the advice. I need to check for sure on how much, if any, the TV and TT dip.

Having a hard time with what hitch

We purchased a Jayco Eagle 272fks last fall. It's sitting at the in-laws waiting for us to take it camping. I just purchased an '02 F250 Super Duty with the 7.3 diesel and a towing package. Should be able to pull it. The hitch already installed is rated for 10,000 lbs. The GVWR on the tag of the...

    Use a van

I had and sold my friend an f350 dually with the 7.3 diesel because I need to find a van. We were pulling my new toy home and almost home and the transmission threw up. Fluid all over the road. I feel bad since I sold him the truck but now worry about buying another vehicle.

    Use a van

Greetings. I just put a deposit on a 27' Jayco with a GVWR of 9000lbs.  I want to continue with my flea market business and want to tow with a van. I have been looking at E350's since I don't thing a 250 could handle it. Can I assume I am correct? Trying to find a V10 or 7.3 diesel. Am I on the...
