The reason for the lower bolt holes is 4x4 trucks, they are usually taller than 2WD vehicles. I moved my shackle bolts down to the lower holes which made the trailer more level.

Try Seafoam Trans-tune. Cleans better than new fluid.

There should be a center of weight distribution on the side of the camper, it should be foward of the rear axle.  If not it will not work.

Never touch the stuff and 3-5gal of water before moving is plenty. We never had a problem.

Check with an independent shop or a transmission shop, same job more warranty coverage,  Subaru only gives 12month/12,000mi warranty.  Good luck

For an inexpensive but quality tire we are using the General Altimax RT43. Treadwear is 700 (850 is the highest I've ever seen ). Allseason tread. What's not to like.  Safe travels
