    Looking at 1999 alpine motorhome

Lol, sounds like agonizing is part of the package. But we'll stay calm and have a good time.  ;) We are taking a few days off to think and talk. Have a nice weekend. Jan

    Looking at 1999 alpine motorhome

I think you're right about the price. We're mulling over what to do. Tires are important, and that would be part of the deal. Thanks for the reply, Gary, appreciate it. Thank you to everyone for helping us learn! Jan

    Looking at 1999 alpine motorhome

Ernie, Before we buy, we would have to have an inspection to make sure of that. My hubby Joe mentioned that he'd want to have the seals checked. But a friend said that even if there wasn't a sign of bad seals now it could all show up later, so that's a worry. It was supposedly winterized but...

    Looking at 1999 alpine motorhome

Hi all! What do you think about a 1999 Western Rv- Alpine- 40 ft., 7,000 miles. One owner. Apparently he just traded it in on a small class c. We like it and think we can get it for $55,000. Any ideas?

What's the highest on mileage on a gas or diesel rig that would be ok? Any advice on that if we're looking at older models... Jan

    2003 Rexhall Vision DP question

Thanks Jim, I think that a 30' would be a bit small, too. Hubby thinks we may have to get it because there aren't any bigger ones for our money. I see we need to broaden our scope. And keep looking! Thanks ;)

    2003 Rexhall Vision DP question

That is very good advice, Delbert. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will do the ebay search, and we won't jump at anything yet. Thanks again, Jan

    2003 Rexhall Vision DP question

Ron, I agree with that. A definite no. I didn't think about the dust factor. Marsha, Thanks for the heads up on that. I do like the floorplan, but those other issues are much more important. We also saw a 2005 Admiral by Holiday Rambler. It's 30ft  with 15,000 mi. I believe they are asking...

    2003 Rexhall Vision DP question

Hubby and I are looking for a motorhome and saw one that is a Rexhall 2003 DP. We lifted the bed and the motor was completely exposed. No cover or anything. If you fell in, that would be it. Is there something that usually covers the motor? This is the first DP we've looked at so far. Also...

    Shopping for our first motorhome....

Hello from Oregon! My hubby and I are in the process of looking at our first motorhome. We homeschooled our children, so have done a ton of traveling in travel trailers and fifth wheels over the years. Now the kids are married and we are looking at each other with bewildered expressions. Lol...
