I installed LEDs and may be the same dimmer.I had to remove the ground wire off the very front light that the switch by the door. Then ran that ground to the frame on the front AC and everything works great. If you need pics let me know.

This is what I used on mine.DW didnt like the hot rod sound :'( Take aluminum tape to seal the edges so no water can get to it and it does a great job until you really put your foot in it.
They are all like that. I had the same thoughts and talked to ford and that is normal install and for the life of me I cannot remember the reason for this type of install. I almost walked away from buying my RV for this.
Added 2 more speakers to slide out so added this switch so you can move the sound were you like it. Plus replaced water guage system so moved everything around to my liking and recovered panel.
Check the blue vacuum line in the engine compartment. cut out the area you see and use windshield washer/vacuum hose to replace it.Slide the blue tube inside the hose.That is the max air vent and it should come to life.anytime you have a vacuum leak it goes to defrost.And the high side line or...
On the output side of your converter you have a reset-able fuse. It is thermo and cost about $5. alot of rigs has 2 of them and they are on the output side.As they get old they get weak and you will get this flickering.
you can not see any ghost left over from the old decals. If you want the same pattern all they do is remove the old decal and place a special tape just past the lines then they put the color you want on it and pull the string under the decal and it cuts the decal and you see no uneven cut...
