I have zero experience with a poop pyramid in an RV but I have many years experience with poop pyramids in my cottage outhouse, and the answer to dealing with it is to smash it up. In the outhouse I just use a stick to break it up and flatten the mound. I imagine in an RV the technique is similar.
I'm planning to wire up a strip of LEDs under my awning but I'm going to connect into the existing outside porch light. It seems like the easiest way to do it as it's already switched.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will add that we are tent campers from way back and are used to pretty close quarters, and that's the logic behind looking for a Class B Roadtrek type rv. I plan to take my time looking around and visiting local deals with the boss. Cheers! John
