    Goodyear Endurance Tire Reviews anyone?

We've had ours 3 years with two round trips from Kansas to Florida and we love them. Can't see any wear and never worry about a flat or running 70 mph when she creeps up. We will buy them again.

    Denver heading East on 70

We've stayed at the KOA in Hays and it was very good. Easy in and out with pull thru sites. Excellent and very clean showers and restroom facilities. Staff was also excellent.

Winterizing: Is this an acceptable approach?

I've always used the pink stuff for the RV winterizing with multiple units for the last 15 years and never had a problem. This fall a friend stopped by to stay with us for a couple weeks on their way from MN to Texas. He fixed several leaks while he was here due to blowing out the lines for the...

Is it safe to put a 1/2 gallon of bleach & 10 gallons water in the black tank

Like Gary suggested, I use Rid-x when our RV is setting for a couple weeks or more. Rid-x is good for septic systems and work hurt anything and the bacteria will clean you tank. The more water you put in the tank with it the better and the higher it will get on your sensors.

If you don't own one, I recommend a propane fire pit!

We bought one a couple years ago and have basically did the same as you with the 20# bottle. We have even done hot dogs and smores on it and it worked great. We think it...

    Ever Run Into This (Gas)

Like Boat Addict I have seen the order reversed especially next to busy highways.

    seal pulling out?

That's what I thought too, Rene. I'm not a member of Facebook so I thought that was why I couldn't get access to the picture.

    Slow draining shower

Have you cleaned the hair out of the drain? The same as home hair can build up in the drain below the surface. I take a piece of wire and bend a tight hook on it and stick it down the drain, twist it several times and pull it out. Usually you will find quite a bit of hair. Do this until you no...

    Teflon disk for 5?er

I've used my 10" on the last two 5th wheels and can't even tell you how many miles and I don't think it shows any wear. Above all no grease mess. I do lubricate my mechanism though.

Most expensive campsite you've ever stayed at??

Larsmac, I love it! You have to be the winner or the loser depending on how you look at it! Anyway thanks for a good post!

    Recliner considerations/recommendations?

In our last two 5th wheels when we have replaced furniture. We have taken measurements of what we need and then gone to a regular furniture store and looked in their clearance areas to find most of what we needed at a very reasonable price. Way below what rv furniture sells for and better...

    Reupholstering

I Agree with you Old-Crow, I have got very reasonable prices from Colaw and they are very nice, helpful people working there, but their prices on used furniture are high in my opinion.

Camping for the sake of camping, or a portable motel?

We always think of our 5th as a portable apartment in the winter when we go south for the winter. The wife really enjoys having a clean and private restroom at all stops when we travel. Also it lets you sleep better knowing exactly who slept in the bed the night before when traveling and that...

    Traveling a long distance question

When we go on long trips I'll do two 450-550 mile days then take a rest day. The exception is if we are only 200-300 miles from our destination, if so I'll usually kill it so I have  a longer rest. Wife talked me into a 17 hour drive once and I'll never do that again. Wore  me slick and she had...
