That's how I do my hoses also. And when sanitize our system I pour the bleach into the faucet end of the hose so it is sanitized also.

    Dish TV Experience?

We have had dish for not quite three years now. When we switched from Direct TV to Dish we got the outdoor package from our dish dealer. They came out and setup both systems. We have the Dish Tailgater Pro antenna and have it setup on a tripod so we can move it around. We was in a couple of...

    F53 Fuel starvation

Like some of the others have said, check to be sure you have at least 12 volts at the pump when the problem happens. Could be a faulty relay or wiring problem. Also check to be sure the ground side is good. If your ground for the pump is bad will cause this kind of problem. Another thing is the...

Hughes Watchdog (or any power monitor)

We have the Progressive unit and whenever we are plugged in to 50 amp outlet, home or campground, we use the Progressive unit. That's what we bought it for.

    Odd Electrical Issue (Converter)

Gary doesn't the fuses protect the 12 volt side of the converter to protect it if the battery cables are hooked up in reverse? If that is the case wouldn't it have to be something to do with the batteries or the wiring going to the batteries?

    Help!!!

I saw in your other post you said it's a 98. You need to figure out if you have spark and fuel. a simple check on the fuel is I spray some brake clean in the throttle body and try starting. You have to use a spray that is not the nonflammable type. The best way is spray a small amount on some...

Are you sure about the engine and year of the rv? They are not showing the 6.8 until 1997. In 92 the Ford had a 5.8 or 7.5 engine.

Marker lights - LED vs. Incandescent question

I replaced the incandescent bulbs in our camper. I had to change the wiring on most of the wiring on the light fixtures. The led bulbs will only work when wired the right way. Incandescent bulbs will work when wired either way. On automotive or 12-volt fixtures are made with the black wire as...

    Electrical Issue

I would agree with Gary that you have a GFCI outlet tripped. If nothing else find the GFCI outlets and push the test button then the rest and see if that fixes the issue.

    Black tank issues!

We have had a problem with our system backing up. The drain from our toilet to the black tank has two 45-degree bends. I thought we had something obstructing it. I ended cutting the pipe above the bottom 45. What i found on ours is the tank has a shelf that must go over the frame. The pipe...

    Propane Leak

I agree with Rene T not to drain the tank completely until you have found the leak for sure. Get you a spray bottle and put some dish soap and water in it. Shake up the contents then spray around areas that might be leaking and look for the sprayed areas to bubble. I do this at my shop to pin...

No ac coming from dash vents

I was thinking it would be electric actuators that controlled the doors, but looking on my shop information it is vacuum motors.

    Potable Water before boondocking

Our camper handles better with the fresh water tank full. The weight is low and to me it helps stabilize the camper. It doesn't get blowed around as much.

    Sluggish 400 ISL 0-25 mph

What kind of rpm is the engine turning on the low power take off. If it is geared high and the transmision is shifting to soon, it might not have enough rpm to build boost. The turbo boost is built up by the exhaust flow. You will not have the boost at lower rpm as you will at higher rpm. Try...
