    Maxi/emergency brake will not set

Getting ready to head out west and discovered the maxi air brake will not set. Do not know when it unlocked as we have the wheels chocked for safety and we're on level ground. The air pressure is great, the push knob in dash is able to be pushed in, but it will not stay. Any ideas for us to...

shower enclosure?? water on the floor?

Can you change out the shower curtain to a longer one? Small Plastic clothes pins with hook/loop tape (velcro) may work to keep it closed at the bottom and sides.

    Thermostat mod

Here are some pics to go along with my last post. I had to get them off the phone before I could upload them. Not as easy as it sounds...LOL Pic #1 is the chase that drops down 3 inches and runs down the center of the bus. Pic #2 is the adapter I used to convert 120v to 12v so I could run my AC.

    Thermostat mod

Ok here's the update on the t-stat....I purchased a universal adjustable voltage adapter from Wally World for $18. I cut off the end and wired this into the Coleman $75 t-stat and the AC power and neg wires. I made sure the polarity was correctly set, set it to 12volt, and plugged it into a...

    Thermostat mod

RE: The thermostat is battery operated so we may be able to use it (hope, guess, pray). We are putting ducts in the wiring chase that has been built down the center of the bus. Bruce at Register RV (in Brooksville, FL) called Coleman and they said this is what we needed to convert our Mach 3...

    Thermostat mod

Hi I hope someone out there has the solution to my problem. We are redoing our bus and want to hook up a battery operated thermostat to our Coleman air unit. We purchased the circuit board with relays that will convert the ceiling air to a ducted unit. The 120v power supply is installed, however...

    A pet lovers quandary

I'm sorry to hear that Shasta isn't doing well. You said that the stairs are no longer a friend to her; you may want to put a baby gate across the top to keep her from trying to go down them on her own. I speak of this only through experience.....God Bless you and your Wife. You are special people.

    YAY RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Won't it be nice to see her parked at home, ready to go whenever you are  :D  I always feel like I'm missing something if "Lucy"(the bus) isn't home. Safe and happy travels to you..................

    Motor home use ...

We live in our old motorhome while we work on our bus conversion. We are stationary at the moment, but as soon as the bus is done we'll be....On the Road Again. With so much to see and do, the hard part is deciding where to go first.

    PD4560 power center

Thanks everyone for answering about the converter box. You gave us more to think about...just when we thought we were ahead of the game (yea right). It's so nice to get an answer with the why's and how's explained. Thanks again.........Chell

Shower surround and what to do.

What about the walls behind the surround? How bad was the leak and is there mold? JMHO but you may want to take it down to check the status of the wall board (?) behind the enclosure. It is easier to fix it now than having to tear it all apart again later. Good Luck and keep us posted.
