    Coach Batteries

Amyken, I think that's a good idea. Of course leave engine connected so I can drive it occasionally.  Thanks.

    Coach Batteries

I have to admit I STILL haven't addressed this problem yet. Think of an ostrich??? They haven't had any water added so that's certainly part of the problem.  I will keep you posted, and I really appreciate the input.

    Coach Batteries

So now my class A is dead as a doornail.  In storage but did go out and crank and drive occasionally.  The engine battery went dead and had it replaced with an Interstate and it seemed to do fine.  But last time I went all batteries seem to be dead. I guess there must be a leakage and no idea...

Opinions on Tiffin Allego 34 TGA

That looks like a great deal.  I chose mine over an Allegro and wish I hadn't many times.  The only thing I don't like about it is where the tv is located.  Seems like you'd get a neck ache after a while.

    Thanks, Gary, will do.

    Ford Edge Towable

In a recent MotorHome issue there was a small article about the Edge being towable 4-down which was a surprise to me.  I can't find that article now. Does anyone tow one, or have knowledge of it?  It wasn't every Edge but a particular model. As always, thanks!

    Leash Laws

Not too much off topic, but I get aggravated with people with the retractable leashes that want their dog to love up to mine. I always have her on leash but even so being a protective Border Collie she's flipped dogs twice her size that she thinks might be a threat to me.  I'm afraid the next...

    Non ethanol?

Thank you for your responses, everyone.  I did put a stabilizer in the tank and drove it since I still had about 50 gals left in to winter over. And no, my car hasn't pooped out either so I guess it must not be that bad.

    Non ethanol?

I was talking to a friend of mine who is a welder/ truck mechanic.  He was telling me how bad ethanol based gas is for engines. Mines a gasser.  The only places I can buy it here are too small to get my unit in. So he suggested using a product called, I think, Tek Tron that removes the ethanol. ...

    accumulater tank

I met someone in the park with the same unit as mine who said they use the pump when showering. I'll email him.  Otherwise, I think in my unit it's an either/or situation.

Am I going in the wrong direction?

I have been thinking about it the last few days and weighing the comments I've received.  I especially agree with the two that suggested waiting another camping season.  Reason being is that so far, most of my experience has been workamping where I live in it for three months and move to the...

    Appalachian Trail

Never hiked it but live near it in NC.  One caution:  if you are planning to bring a dog with you, there are parts of the trails that won't allow you to take him/her due to it going through private land.  I don't know what hikers do when they run across that, maybe ignore the rule or get off the...

Am I going in the wrong direction?

Wow, across the board replies.  I couldn't handle a B, that would be TOO little.  I guess one of the things I see in the replies is that there is a lot of trading going on, so I don't feel so bad thinking about it. Anyone else?

Am I going in the wrong direction?

I see several posts where people have traded up into bigger rigs as they got used to rving (been there, done that).  But I don't recall seeing one trading to a smaller one. I love my 37' with all it's amenities but it's a lot of real estate to haul around for one person.  (DH doesn't have much...
