Basement air rattling and grinding :(

Ok, so that was easy :) Got the pack of air filters from Home Depot. $9 for a pack of 3! Bargain. Thanks for all the help on sourcing those. Now I just need to get it running. Had a very kind offer of help from Jim (IslandGuy). The people on this site are amazing.  :) I will update with...

Basement air rattling and grinding :(

Tried running with Fan set to On, Heat/Cool set to Off. Fans blow in coach with no noise! So must be the condenser fan. That's great advice thank you. That looks ideal but as I am on the road I don't want to buy one and have to carry it around in the coach after. I will see if maybe I can hire...

Basement air rattling and grinding :(

Hi Pattywolfe Thanks for the suggestion. Do you have a particular number to contact Winnie on for that kind of information? I have called the main number on their web site and spent hours doing the Telephone Waltz from extension to extension with no joy. And as for the 5 digit coach number, is...

Basement air rattling and grinding :(

Hi Thanks Harry and John for the quick response. I am aiming to start work on the air unit after Christmas. It is a bit difficult as I am on site in Tucson so no workshop facilities. I think I have all the tools I need but am a bit concerned about physically lifting the unit down/out from the...

Door step suddenly stopped extending :(

UPDATE Thanks to all for the help given. I am still working on this issue. Here is where I am at. Got under the bus, felt motor. Very hot!  Did the tapping thing as suggested. It did move a tiny bit, 1/4 inch maybe). Each tap it just moved back and forth a fraction. Figured power must be...

Basement air rattling and grinding :(

Hi So I am still working on getting my electric Kwikee step working and then the basement air throws a curved ball at me! First hot day since taking our 2006 Itasca Meridian 36G out of storage in November, so we click on the air con. And it sounds like someone down below is juggling bolts in a...

Door step suddenly stopped extending :(

Hi again Thanks for the suggestions. Rock man, good idea to release the motor from the step. My problem is the step is stuck in (fully retracted) and the motor is above the step so it is just about impossible to get hands in between the step and the chassis to get to the motor and linkage. Has...

Door step suddenly stopped extending :(

Hi Guys Thanks for the quick responses. I have trawled through the numerous posts relating to this seemingly common problem. To be honest I am still at a bit of a loss how to diagnose where the issue is. I don't want to rush off and buy a new motor only to find it is some other trivial thing...

Door step suddenly stopped extending :(

Hi all Just got my Itasca Meridian 36 out of store (5 months) for our winter travels. Step worked fine for first 3 days but today, I started the engine to run up the compressor and check tyre pressures. Step retracted as norm when engine starts but now refuses to extend again no matter what...

Itasca Meridian Class A Summer Storage

Hi Thanks for the advice. Tom, re the battery charger, so you think it is better to use a trickle charger rather than just Keane the power hooked up to the coach? I don't know how the on board charging works so not sure why that is. Could you explain please? Be good to know. Any thoughts on the...

Itasca Meridian Class A Summer Storage

Hi All We are just about to put our coach into storage for the first time since buying it this winter. It will be stored indoors, not air con, in Palm Springs. There is electric available, not water. Can anyone offer some advice on how to prepare the vehicle for the 7 months it will be in store...

Itasca Meridien 36 replace radio with Sirius and Bluetooth compatible

Thanks for all the advice folks. On taking a closer look at the fitted item in my MH, it doesn't have any model numbers or brand markings. Just says RV Radio on the front. The FM doesn't hardly work at all. Not sure if the aerial is disconnected, will need to drag it out to check. It looks to be...
