    12v Wiring mysteries...

Well the kind of tester i thought of would be where the systems are off you put the load on the end you have found then you search with the other part to trace the cable and it makes sounds as it finds the cable. Low chance of working in an rv - works through walls in houses

    12v Wiring mysteries...

Do you have side cameras / rear camera? could be for those. I dunno just throwing out ideas :) Do you have a tester? Could possibly hook up on those cables and walk around. I doubt that the "pinger" would find it, but maybe

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Well I don't know what I was doing the first few times. Maybe it was having the kids in there at the same time. Either way last night I went and spend some quality time with the radio and figured out that I can indeed fade speakers not only L and R but also F and R....... so problem solved...

Parts are in and everything will be repaired; at least that's what she said.

Actually the sad part is that there isn't a joke in there somewhere......

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Does it look like this :) http://www.ltmelectronics.com/jensen-vr209tp-2din-sir-ready-cd-w-touch-mon-3-cam-input.html I found the fade L and R and as you say several steps and have to kind of look at the screen - I can't imagine that there would be a separate fade Front and Back in a different...

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Correct -- to turn it off you have to turn it off in the dash. If you turn it off in the dash then it turns on in the coach.......... I can't believe it myself but just had a 10 minute conversation with Winnebago and he confirms what my testing in the coach says.....that is how it works. It is...

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Just got off the phone with Winnebago and there is no way NOT to have what is being played in the cab go to the speakers in the main area........ according to them. Going to play around a lot more with it, but right now confirmed that there is no switch (and per them should not be one), there...

Thanks. Now I understand missing a cable (iPod)but if they missed installing a switch that would be unreal. Will see what the dealer says but this might get "interesting" thanks

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Ok that sounds like my configuration AND the way the manual has it. In the manual that override switch can be in two places. 1) under the tv in the cab-over where th tv on / off power switch is ( next to it) or up on the dash. I have neither - is yours in one of those spots? Patriot what model...

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Thanks guys -- I am aware of the usb port and the use of a memory stick, but I am one of those complicated people :) I have some albums, but nothing much really. So what I have been doing is use Pandora and tehn recently Rhapsody. Rhapsody costs $10 / month, but allows for "offline" access. So...

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Thanks island guy. The manual was not given to me by I have downloaded it. I do have the same model as you. Winnebago called me back and told me the part number needed is 163142-12-000 and just like you said pull out the radio and plug in. From the description online at the Winnebago site I...

USB Port in 2010 Winnebago "radio"

Well I might have gotten "hosed" here - we shall see The USB does in fact not recognize the ipod. I downloaded the manual for the unit online and it references connecting to a 8 DIN Cable just like others have indicated in this thread. Now here is the issue. I did not get the Sirius satellite...

    2009 Sightseer 35J to Alaska

A guy at work just drove up a motorcycle from Seattle -- he averaged about 700 miles a day as he tried to minimize the time off from work........... Yeah no comments on that part, but he did it on two-wheels so I think you will be fine! The plan is to do Kodiak one of the next two summers...
