    2003 Holiday Rambler Leveling problem

I used to have a 2004, though it was a Vacationer. The control box was actually in the same bay as the generator - just fore of the gennie. Not sure if that will help you but, that's where mine was. Good luck!

    Ford 7.3L V-8

Just curious how this engine has been performing for anyone that has it - particularly if they can compare it to the V-10. The drive-train itself actually as I believe they upgraded the trans also. I just bought a Class C with the 7.3L and I'm curious to hear what others think of it. I currently...

    I-75 Cincinnati

I will be heading south (Michigan to Florida) this weekend and for the first time in 3 years I will be taking I-75 all  the way. I normally would go around Cincy on I-275 East and from what I understand there will be no choice, this year, since the bridge over the Ohio River is out. My question...

    Another AC question(s)

It appears to be the sensor, which is in a bad spot right under the front TV cabinet and very close to the windshield. Closing the drapes helps but I think i will put some reflectix up. Any easy way to move the sensor? The wires all all hidden so I would expect it might get a little touchy.

    Another AC question(s)

OK, this just started acting up, today. Have the dual roof air with a DuoTherm Comfort Control thermostat. The front (zone 1) unit is now wanting to run almost continuously even though the outside temperature is only in the upper 70's. The rear unit (zone 2) works fine. It is set at 74 and comes...

    Wet Floor

I'm sure this has come up before but I am looking for any direction that might help. Drove back to Michigan from Florida taking it easy with a 5 day/4 night trip. Coach (2004 HR Vacationer 37PCT w/toad) ran well with no problems except...on the afternoon of the 4th day my wife noticed the floor...

    Dead House Batteries

Well I did the battery boost and got the generator started. It was charging the house batteries properly at 14.1/14.3 V. I ran it for a while and then disconnected the batteries, pulled them out and took them back to my place to put on the charger. Not expecting miracles since they were quite...

    Dead House Batteries

Bear with me - this post might run long as I try to give some background. Bought the coach (2004 HR Vacationer with V-10) last summer and the house batteries were fairly new, having been replaced the year prior (2017). They are 2 deep cycle 6V and have worked well in the short time I have owned...

    brake booster

I have a 2004 HR Vacationer (Ford V-10) that has an electric brake assist system. The brake booster motor runs constantly with the key in the on position and I was wondering where to look to fix this. My guess is that it would only need to run when the brakes are applied but it seems to run all...

    Memphis area

Thanks John, I might try that US 82 route. How was traffic through Memphis on I-55?

    Memphis area

I will be traveling from Springfield, MO to just past Memphis in a few weeks and was wondering about a couple of routes. Having never gone through this area I am unfamiliar with best routes to take. I have planned a fuel stop in West Memphis, AK and then will have a couple of options to get...

Thanks gang...I think I'll be good to go.

    tow dolly question(s)

OK, we will be dolly towing a 2016 Ford Escape FWD behind our 2004 Holiday Rambler Vacationer and I have a question or two about this set up. The Escape has the EPAS (Electric Power Assist Steering) so the steering column does not lock. I have been looking at a Master Tow dolly that has a...

    warm fridge

Well, I suppose I should have expected issues - it's an old MH (1993) and it sat over the whole winter, in storage. We are prepping to drive back up north so I moved the MH to a full hookup site for a few days to check everything and pack to go back to Michigan. Water is fine, AC is fine but...

    Another Toad Question (or three)

Thanks, John. This is very helpful. I am leaning towards the Liberty and the majority of them are good to go, 4-down, with no real modification. Transfer case is the key. I really didn't give serious consideration to trailering for a number of reasons, weight being the major one. I can do a...
