    Ford 460 stalling during coast+left turn+incline

Hey guys, So twice now (once last year and then again about 45 minutes ago) we've stalled while coasting (no accelerator) while a) making a left turn down off a steep hill, and b) turning left through a round-about going up-hill. No power was being applied in either case so the engine was...

Norcold 932 stuck inside Winnebago Vectra Grand Tour

Thanks for the replies! It seemed it just took several good tugs then it broke free. New Norcold is in and cooling on AC. The gas line is backwards on the new fridge so I’ll be heading to a propane shop in the morning to replace the line. Sincerely appreciated!

Norcold 932 stuck inside Winnebago Vectra Grand Tour

Hey I am trying to remove my dead Norcold 932 but it's stuck on something. I have removed the 4 bolts in the back, the 2 holding the strap under the roof vent, and all the screws / trim on the front. We've managed to loosen that front metal lip but it feels like the fridge is still attached...

Night part of night-shade not opaque?

Thanks for the replies. They are not replying to me anymore so it looks like i'm stuck with them. Last purchase from them for sure.

Night part of night-shade not opaque?

Hey folks - just wondering what others think: I ordered a day/night replacement blind from rvpartsnation.com. When they arrived and I installed them, the 'night' portion was not opaque at all. It let in just as much light as the day portion - see image. The blinds are advertised on their site...

Acceptable distance between airbag and tire

Sorry for the long time from reply... here's the update and it's painful (ego and wallet): The bags were the wrong size. When we were up in the North West Territories last summer we had one of the original bags fail. They said they could order a replacement and that they were not the correct...

Acceptable distance between airbag and tire

And I did have the tires replaced recently with 235x85R16 which replaced the previous set.

Acceptable distance between airbag and tire

Yeah the left one is not much better...not as close but still close. This the Ford F-53, Gary. Thanks for the back, all. I'll take it in tomorrow for another look.

Acceptable distance between airbag and tire

Hey everyone, we just had the right suspension airbag replaced on our '96 Vectra Grand Tour and just inspected it, and it looks really close to the tires - does this look OK? Is there a recommended clearance? I can't even fit my finger between the bag and tire... edit by staff - changed message...

Jet-Ride air bag fail - how / where to go for replacement?

Thanks for the additional info - I've tried some duct-tape under but that does not seems to be helping - hole seems to be under the lip at the bottom - not fully exposed as the bag won't fully inflate. I'll check those links for a part number then track down a shop that can install it. Thanks...

Jet-Ride air bag fail - how / where to go for replacement?

Hey guys, well we pulled out of Edmonton and about 100 clicks later the compressor/check air suspension lights come on. When I parked, there was an audible hiss coming from the rear passenger side bag and I could feel the air coming out the middle seam -it appears to be a crack or split  in the...

Oil blowback through air filter - worst case scenario?

Just thought I'd update this post for some closure: We ended up limping the RV down from Hay River NWT to Edmonton Alberta where we put it into storage at the end of August last year, then we returned to Europe. Two weeks ago my eldest son and myself flew back to Edmonton and had the engine...
