Just like Al, the dipstick on my 8.1 Workhorse(same dipstick configuration as yours) will only go in with the oil level indicator marks on the bottom when inserting. No idea why, just the way it is.

I started to watch this series with my wife but after the second night I decided to find something else to do.  She watched the rest of the series and said it was enlightening and well done. I wonder if it changed anyone mind as to what we went through over there. 

When I install the air bag helpers I add a ping tank to the system. It will make the ride better and still give you the support you want or need. Just google "air bag ping tank" for an explanation of their function and benefit.

When I go to the race track it amazes me how many of these guys are using gas powered class A to pull their car trailers. Some of the trailers are nearly as long as the MH.  I'm certainly not endorsing this practice, just noting it is done with some regularity

Most column shafts have a master spline that will only allow the steering wheel to be installed in one position. This prevents you from adjusting the wheel mounting in either direction.

You can put a ball valve in the heater hose and completely shut off any hot water to the heat/cool mixing system.  This is a cheap fix for the summer months

Arch, How do you go about leveling your coach when it low on the right side?  The one place I have been a couple times boondocking slopes just slightly to the right side so I have to place blocks on the right side and drivie up on them.  Like I said before, if I use the jacks to correct a right...
