So I than turned off the converter and was still pulling 11.36, looking like the refer was pulling 11 amps but I did fine the plug for the...

In-transit Cab Cooling in Class A and C

The dash AC gives me the cooling I need at the driver station, if there are others in the RV or Kids wanting to watch TV etc than the gen set is on. It really comes down to personal choice, I like a cool RV so I run all the AC's on the fly. If it was winter time than I might just need the power...

    Need help with power useage

I think Gary's math is spot on. I picked up a "Kill a Watt" at Home Depot and plan to plug that in ASAP when I arrive on the 21th.

In-transit Cab Cooling in Class A and C

My AC feeds the dash only and I run it whenever I feel the need and it cools right nicely. As for my roof AC's, when I crank the engine I crank the Gen set and the gen set runs until I get to where I'm going or I hook up to shore power. Last trip it ran for 24 hrs on the first leg of the trip...

Opinions and Advice 1992 Monaco Crown Royale

I bought a 1995 Monaco Dynasty and am very pleased with the MH. Nothing wrong with a older coach, it all comes down to how they were taken care of.

    1990 Coachman Classic 36' - John Deere Chassis - 460 Ford

250 deg is TOO hot. IMO the John Deere Chassis w/ the 460 Ford was a poor design for cooling from the get go. I had a 1989 Overland with a 460 Ford and it also had a overheating problem. I finally put a fan in front of the radiator and this fixed my overheating problem. I would also get the...

    Need help with power useage

Thanks for the feedback. I will be back up there in a few weeks and will be checking into all this as it is nuts to be using this much power. No one is pulling off my meter so that is not the case. Kwh cost is .114. The RV park is a standup place so I'm pretty sure nothing funny is going on.

Have a AC and refer problem on the Monaco. Need input.

I have had my 96 Monaco set up in a RV park now and just came back after a 30 days to a couple of problems. 1.  The refer is frozen up in the upper part of both the frezzer and refrigerator, it is a side by side Dometic Elite. See picture. 2. The forward AC unit (2 years old) does not cycle...
