We sold our home and most everything in it and have never looked back.  We love full timing!  I have to admit, it was a little scary at first selling all my "stuff" and a little sad.  But, its just stuff.  We could not afford the upkeep and insurance, etc on both. 

We made the decision to get a fifth wheel instead of a motor home. Reason being is that we are full timers and the floor plan makes "us" feel more like we are in a little apartment than a motor home would. That's just our opinion. I do admit that sometime when I watch a motor home pull up next...

We found a one of a kind RV park in Rutherfordton North Carolina, just south of Ashevile. Its called the Four Paws Kingdom RV Park.  It had 2 fensed dog parks, one for large dogs and one for small dogs.  Piper really enjoyed going down the sliding boards and playing with the toys in the small...

We had just about had made up our minds that we were going to purchase a Forest River Cardinal to full time in.  Well, yesterday we looked at a Grand Junction and now we are undecided.  It was great!  I'd like to hear comments on either one of them form anyone who has either of them.  Thanks.

I'm from New England but have lived in Florida for 21 years now.  Its really a beautiful state.  Especially the back roads where it sometimes looks like the old Florida.  I still work and shop and have a life and I move prety fast as most of us down here do. Just stay away from retirement areas...

Thanks for the update John.  Yes, we are only wanting a general idea since we haven't made a decision on the fifth wheeler yet.  Knowing this may make a difference in what we choose. Thanks again.

Now I'm getting concerned, an F550, really?  I have to admit we really know nothing about towing a large fiver but we do look at the tow vehicles as we drive down I75 and we haven't seen a F550.  Can anyone out there with a 35 to 36ft Carriage or Forest River Cardinal or anything similar tell...
