The spot is there with the wiring, it is just missing. I was just trying to figure out what battery I need for it. :-)

Everything works with shore power, and the trailer brakes are working just by being hooked up to the truck.

We just upgraded campers last week to a 1999 Jayco Eagle Model 264. This camper did not come with a battery or battery box. Can anyone point me to what I would use on this camper. I don't plan to camp ever without being hooked up to shore power, but it would still be nice to have the battery...

This has AC and a furnace as well. I would think I could replace it with one that handles that and uses AA or AAA batteries to power it, correct?

I have the attached thermostat below that came on a new to us camper we just bought. We have heat and AC and it controls both. I am wanting to change it out with a digital thermostat. What should I be looking for? Thanks for the help. Neal

UPDATE: Last night I went back out again and played with the small white and red thermostat wires that go to the blue wires. I unhooked them both and hooked them back up again, which I have already done and now this time everything is working perfectly. Blower turned off when I hooked them...

Kirk thanks for the response. It is a basic HoneyWell thermostat that only controls the heat. So is there a way I can test by unhooking the leads from the thermostat to the 2 blue wires? As in if I disconnect those wires the furnace should turn off? I have a red and blue wire hooked together...

Ok so the one I took the picture of that is my friends doesn't appear to be the same as what I have installed, or maybe lightly smaller. Would you think this one is different? If so, ideas on what I am looking for?
