i have not heard of cabinet depth. gives me a start. just had read the ?home models? used in a rv are not as deep. as the stick n brick units. but thanks will look into this. just being a older ( older to me at 61) single, these huge supper every bling bling units are of no value to me. then...

help for a home use reffer. i have read that home styled reffers are not as deep as what is some at the home centers( pick your brand). is this true? if so where could one go look at them? check for size. etc. reason is my home kitchen wall is short for every unit ( reffer sticks out three...

    First time campsite theft

sorry to hear this. most likely it was taken by a bun ( said as i do not know this area)  if so it was taken apart in the hr. if a low life crook it will be found trashed out in a ditch. as this type  has no cares for anything. so used to getting things for free. so it is bread into them to just...

    Do you need shock absorbers?

best price does not equal best deal. for a  shock (or most everything else). drop the coin and buy a brand name quality shock and it should last decades.  and support the stick and brick shops as much as you can. or they will go away and only wall mart and amazon will survive. and yes if you...

    Small cheap top off generator

first. can you install more batteries? sounds like this and about 300 - 600 watts of solar will do what you need. i have six 6 volt batteries,  no problem in the cold, (down to 25F or so). with heater, and my c-pap running all night. (also all the varied "other" things sucking down the juice)...

can not go wrong with a honda gen. get two of the 2200 if and when they fix the fuel problem. but even then only pull start. a eu 3000, sure very heavy, pull or auto start, (remote start/stop after market). i have owned a early eu 2000 and now a eu3000, nither never gave me any trouble. Fuel prices going stupid

all i know as for now, i do not start any motor unless i have a very good, or multiple reasons to go "there". even a lawnmower only gets what fuel i have on hand, then let the grass/weeds grow. but the jeep needs tires so have plenty of gasoline for the mower.

turning a class C into a tow truck for a fifthwheel.

not trying to "deceive". just want to save cash, for a short number of years. buy a junker with rot, rebuild up as a tow and have at it. my belief is it would also need to have some accommodation's on it. not looked into the gross tow, or axle weight numbers. but should be higher than a pu truck.

turning a class C into a tow truck for a fifthwheel.

well long title. but say's it all. thinking as i saw one like this, but it was a bum set up. not a rv living style thing. but my big question is: how would said be registered? buy a older small class C ripoff most all of the cabin, and set it up to pull a fiver? would it (even in ca). still be...

sad all the natural, and man made toxins in our daily lives. i have lung problems. so those little stink pads send me into a asthma attack. then people smoking. but there is this black mold that can kill people. yes it grows in a s&b house. get a top of the line air cleaner filter, ( i have no...

    Newbie boondocking question regarding toilet

i believe all has been said here that can help you. use your camper at home for three days, no in house for anything. get 4, 6 volt deep cycle batt. wire it proper, have a gen for use during ok hrs. (solar if you want) full propane when you leave home. fresh water full. grey and black cleaned...

    lifting jeep

not sure of the room on a jk. but for my cj-7, i run 35in mud tires. a 4 inch lift, with 4.10 gearing. this runs about stock. i only use a 4 speed box with compound low, no overdrive and 65 mph no problem, easy on the motors rpms. but if your towing 4 down you are better off getting tires that...

Want 4x4 truck but higher then 2x2 - Can I get the 5th wheel level?

depends on how high the 4X4 truck is. i have a 1 wheel drive street truck, (does not tow anything). and it sits pretty high, for stock.. my ford 3/4 ton 4X4 truck sits ok high still a stocker. but my cj-7 sits even higher (not stock). but as to any fifth wheel sure you can lift them. but take...
