    Best Rubber roof sealer?

I own a 29ft 05' Sun Seeker class C, 24k miles, Ive replaced all the plastic gismos and tape on the roof, it does not leak, but the rubber roof is getting thin, the white is starting to fade. I've invested a lot of time and elbow grease into the old girl and want to make sure I use and apply a...

4 pin trailer elect plug to a 7 pin plug?

UPDATE: today I installed a 7 way plug on tope of the bumper and off center of the hitch, I used a L bracket and self tapping screws. I ended up being able to splice into one of the reverse lights on the coach, feed the wire through the wall and over the frame, it worked out well. While I had...

    Roof repair????

I have a older Class C, on the trip from Florida to Cincinnati I developed a appr. 24"x 24" bubble directly behind the fiberglass sheet material where it flattens out and meets the rubber roof membrane, I cut it used some construction adhesive in the cut, then taped it with a 6" piece of...

4 pin trailer elect plug to a 7 pin plug?

No, the RV doesnt have reverse light wires at the hitch only 4 wires, I need additional wires. So I am guessing I need to splice into the rv tailights to get the additional wires needed

4 pin elect. Trailer plug to 7 way plug?

I recently bought my retirement boat, and the trailer has hyd disk brakes and backup lights. It requires a 7 way plug so the reverse light pulse can release the brakes on the trailer. So my rig is a low mileage 04' 29ft class C Sunseeker, I had hoped there were splicing points in the oem...

    Campgrounds S.Tenn/N.Georgia off I-75?

We are headed from Ohio to Florida later this week, and hoping to find a reasonable site close to I-75, hoping to slide through Atlanta early Sat morning before the madness starts. Just need a quiet place with 30amp service?

Hints, Tricks and Gadgets/Tools --- small ones.

I thought I would add a trick that doesn't make much sense but worked for us. We have a older Class C that we take to Florida from Ohio every winter for 2 to 5 weeks. This past winter was colder than normal and for the first time we emptied the propane tank a few days before heading home. I...

Gas prices Seem to be Creeping Upwards, What are you Paying at the Pump?

I am in Cincinnati, $3.00/gal Diesal $276/gal reg. I will add we camped in central Florida the first half of January, I saw gas as low as $1.99/gal but most was around $2.35, who needs the Keystone pipeline, when we can buy oil from people who want to kill us! I dont get it.

    Rubber Roof Bubble

That sounds simple enough, I know I've seen some big patch type size Dicor tape, but I guess if I just cut a slit I can use the standard size that I have. S few years ago another rv'r had told me about a roof sealer that your pressure wash first then roll or brush the entire roof with, he said...

    Class C maintenance?

Short or reading all the responses, I too bought a class c similar in age and mileage. I replaced all the brake calipers for good measure, checked the date codes on the tires, inspected and repaired several spots in the roof and various small things. I always think how the weather and age can...

    Rubber Roof Bubble

I own a 29ft Class C Sunseeker, older model but less than 25k miles. After driving a full day home in the middle of January, I noticed a big bubble behind the Nose of the roof, it appeared to be about 24" wide and 3" tall! my fist thought that I had a air leak in the nose of the camper, but I...

    Bleeped out words

I guess that describes it best. Anyway I had searched Mice, and was reading past post and it seems about every 10 or 12 words a word was bleeped out like Astrix instead of the actual word, now I doubt there are that many campers that use profanities in there post, so what gives!
