After a couple of years messing with the lube plates wearing out and falling off, I got rid of them, keep the pin and plate clean and lubed and it works just fine for me.

Do you have In-Command?  I'll bet it's in that, if so call their customer service ASA Electronics 877-845-8750

We just drove through from the south entrance to the west entrance, with our truck not the 5'r.  It is easily passable with an RV.  There is one place near the south entrance that part of the road is washed out and it's one lane for a short period, but no problem to get through.

Hi, We are leaving Monday morning from Vandenberg AFB to Desert Hot Springs.  Google maps shows 101, 210, 10.  I'm not sure about going through LA.  Can you guys that travel this area give me advise on the best route? thanks, Guy

I checked the owners manual and it doesn't cover my concern, I didn't see anything on the Keystone RV form after doing a search either.
