    Air Bags

Well I think I will just wait then. When I first got it they put the air pressure at 110 which I was told at a guy at Les Schwab was too much. This year they are at 90 and the ride is pretty good. Its going in the shop for a brake issue Monday and it really doesn't wander so think I will leave...

    Air Bags

What would make my motor home handle better. Air bags or the thing they add to the steering. I would just like it to handle a little better and ride a little better. It is all stock 2002 Winnie with 18000 miles 32' Adventurer. Can't afford both right now.

    Coach net

Just wanted to say thanks for recommending Coach net. We were making our first trip this year and some a hole pulled out in front of us and slammed on his brakes.. When I hit mine my MH started pulling to the right really bad and by the time I could pull off to the side of the freeway my brakes...

    AAA RV or other

What is the best. I had AAA last time but I think I heard there was a better one for emergency service for RV's. Although I know AAA is widely accepted. I had the 200 miles towing. Just wondering if you had a flat what do you do. I have Les Schwab tires via China but don't carry a spare. 33'...

    Cooling system flush with motoraid

What is involved in flushing the cooling system with a motoraid heating system? Is it a DIY or do you have to take it in to a Winnebago dealer. Can it be done by your regular mechanic if you have a good one. I have a problem with rv service places after finding prices from $80 to $180 for an oil...

    Winterize or Not

Now thats one I agree with. Next year I hate winter here. I loved it when I was 21 but not now. MH made it just fine and winterized today.

    winterizing another question

In a previous post I mentioned that my rv Winnebago is set up to winterize by putting rv anti freeze in all the water lines and bypassing hw tank. I don't have to buy any thing except anti freeze. Any drawbacks to this way of doing it? Seems to me I should be able to do it in about 30 min and if...

    Winterizing RV

OK thanks. I was going to take it and get it winterized and started reading. The Winnebago is all set up for filling your water lines with antifreeze. Already had bypass valves and hose to put into the antifreeze bottle and then in the spring you can use it to sanitize the system. Save myself...

    Winterizing RV

When its parked would it be a good idea to start it once a month, start the gen, put the slide outs in and out jacks up and down plug it in and charge batts completely. I thought I would do that if there was a day it was above freezing, Would that be a good idea or not?

Fleetwood & Bounder - Good or bad choice to buy?

Wow another one?? Myself if I upgrade I am going to look at Beaver 1st. From what I have seen they are top quality but of course they are DP's. They are also pretty expensive which would cause me to be looking at 2000 or older. It also seems that people that have them take good care of them.

    Smelly Hot Water

OK thanks guys I will try the bleach. I know that it is really good for sanitizing. It has gotten better. This is our 3rd trip with it and have spent about 6 weeks in it total. No showers yet because we have always been where we have another. I am so happy with this coach. Had to replace tires...

    Smelly Hot Water

I have a motorhome that was stored for 5 years. The hot water has a funky smell and doesn't seem to be going away. Just wondering is there a way to get rid of the smell? Of course the cold water is fine.

    12 volt or 6 volt

I was faced with the same dilemma. One of my 12v was bad and the other was taking up the slack. I decided on 2 6v golf cart batteries from Interstate. I am glad I did. I can't believe how they hold their power. Make sure your battery compartment will hold them they are a little bigger then the...
