Under/On Awning for LED Light Strips?

Old Coot stopped making them this spring, I bought the 2nd to the last set that he made.  After OC stopped production some members at FRF started to make their own versions, I have seen them made out of PVC, extendable painting poles or boat hook poles.  A fair easy option that I saw one member...

    Outside Onboard Gas Grills

We have the RVQII and love it!!  We have had it same grill on 2 different campers and would not be without it.  I like it so much that when my boss sold his 5er, swore that he would never buy another camper, I bought his 1 yr old RVQII (that was uses probably 5-6 times). Just so when ours...

    F250 again but now diesel

With the 7.3L you won't even know that your TT is behind you!!  My parents have had 6 F250/F350 4X4's with diesels, 3 of which have had the 7.3L, and they have all been bullet proof!!  My dad ordered and waited 4 months to get his 05 F350 6.0L PSD, after having it for 4 years he didn't like the...

Under/On Awning for LED Light Strips?

I mounted a LED 5050 waterproof strip to the underside of the rail on the camper that the awning mounts to. We have a Dometic power awning on our 2012 Grey Wolf, I ran the wires down the rear channel of the awning mount rail and then into the rear storage compartment where I mounted the...

caulking all cracked, what to use now?

Hopefully this is the right spot for this, if not sorry and feel free to move it. This weekend was our first camping weekend for the year, we went to Jelly Stone in Warrens, WI and had a great time with friends. When I was setting the camper up at the CG I noticed that the caulking where the...

    Winegard Road Star 1500 antenna

So this Sensar Pro will atleast help with the signal of the channels that come in for 2 minutes, but then freeze up and drop?  Do you know how much this thing is?  If I remember right, the radio pulls its signal through the 1500 also, correct?  The Sensar Pro won't interfere with the radio will it?

    Winegard Road Star 1500 antenna

Hi Bill, yes most of our friends/family have the crank-up "Batwing" style antennas.  But my cousin (who we camp with often) has an antenna similar to ours, it is has a different shape than ours but it is non moveable like our 1500, and he is able to get more stations than us even when parked...

    Winegard Road Star 1500 antenna

We have the Winegard RS 1500 on our Grey Wolf, the problem is that we can't get very many stations in. Our friends may be able to get 6-7 stations and we are only able to get 2,3 maybe 4 channels of those only about 1/2 will actually stay on without freezing up and cutting out. This is with the...

28' - 31' TRAILER, --what truck do you use? Like it? MGP?

If he is getting 13 towing, great for him, but honestly it doesn't seem possible.  One of our friends has a 2010 Tundra double cab, 5.7L 4X4, he told me he gets 15 DD which is mostly highway, and towing the same TT we have (2012 Grey Wolf 26BH) he get 10mpg!  His mpg figures are the same that I...

    noisy hitch when turning corner

Being that the only WD hitch that I have ever had is the Andersen WD hitch, which is basically totally silent.  But I do know that friends with other brands of WD hitches are pretty darn loud, almost to the point that it sounds like something it breaking.

Maxxis, Kenda, Kumho, Titan, or ???

After calling 7 tire dealers and getting prices and not ever heard of probably 75% of the brands that they had, but our local farmers co-op had Titans and Hercules. I ended up ordering the Hercules Power STR 215/75R14 for $91/tire OTD mounted and balanced. They should be here in about 2 weeks...

Maxxis, Kenda, Kumho, Titan, or ???

I just found another tire that I am considering, the Hercules Power STR in 215-75-14. Like other 215/75/14's they have a load rating of 1870lbs which is 110's more per tire than I have now. I know the local farmers co-op is a Hercules dealer, so I am going to call them in the next day or 2 to...

Maxxis, Kenda, Kumho, Titan, or ???

I found the tires without any problem on Michelins website, but the tire shops around here don't have them listed in their computer or books.  So they have to call their wholesaler to see what they can get. All the places that have the Agilis listed online say that I have to get a price quote...
