Coach windows with moisture inside panes

1995 Bounder 32' Gas Coach:  Several windows have shown up with moisture in between the thermopanes.  Fleetwood wants about $900 per window.  Is there another source or vendor that I could contact?  Thanks in advance for the advice.

    Broken Skylight

Thanks to all who responded.  You pretty much confirmed what I thought.  I think I'll use a piece of 1/4" clear plexiglass, seal it well with the recommended stuff (ultraurethane?) and, if necessary, put a piece of 1/8" on the ceiling of the bath. You guys rock!

    Broken Skylight

Our 1996 32' bounder has developed cracks in the outer skylight over the tub/shower.  Replacement costs upwards of $150.  Is there any reason that the skylight needs to be domed?  Couldn't I simply replace it with a piece of 1/4" plexiglass, assuming it is properly and thoroughly sealed?  Any...

    XM Roady XT

XM makes (or used to) a mobile kit that includes a cassette thingy that goes into the cassette player of your dash radio.  You play it like a tape and the xm radio comes out.  We use ours a lot

    Still Confused about Batteries

Well, I'm finally not confused anymore.  Thanks to other RV'ers and some searching, I found that my current charger/inverter is an old style ferromagnetic Magnetek model 950 which does not do a very good job with batteries.  Look here <http://www.amplepower.com/> for a good site and information...

    Still Confused about Batteries

Thanks        So, what happens if you discharge them below 50%?  I have a Link-10 monitor.

    Still Confused about Batteries

I know this topic has been almost beaten to death, but I'm still confused.  If I have 2 6 volt golf cart batteries in series, I have about 220 AH of power available.  BUT, can I use it all?  When we dry camp we use about 40 AH per day due to my cpap used at night.  Therefore, should I expect to...

    using bathroom while driving

Why couldn't one simply install a sanitary wye fitting on top with the angle towards the back?  It would cause a vacuum on the black tank while moving and also promote ventilation during any air movement.

    Refridgerator Problems

We too had that problem, but it turned out to be crud in the burner tube.  Vacuum it out (or blow it out, being VERY careful not to damage the gas orifice) and try again.

    Charging Coach Batteries

Very likely.  It would seem that I really don't have a problem after all.  Thank You.

    Charging Coach Batteries

Yes, they are golf cart house batteries.  I'm measuring the charge on a shunt ammeter between battery and ground.  When dry camping I run the engine every 3 days or so to restore the charge.  Prior to the alternator change I could restore about half of the charge in an hour or so.  Thanks for...

    Charging Coach Batteries

95 Bounder:  Had to replace the alternator last year.  Now, the coach batteries only charge at about 10 amps, when they used to charge at about 45 amps.  Did I get a  "standard" alternator rather than heavy duty?  It starts to charge at 45 amps, but immediately clicks off (I hear a clicking in...

    Towing a 73 SuperBeetle

Does anyone know whether you can tow a 73 VW SuperBeetle (manual trans) in neutral without damaging anything?  We are changing dinghys due to weight and other issues.

    Paying your bills

We're not new to RVing - 12 years of loving it - but new to long trips.? When one is going to be gone for a significant period, how do you keep up with paying bills other than those that you can pay on-line?? It would seem prudent to have the mail forwarded, but during a trip with lots of travel...
