    Breakaway switch not working?

Did my brakes and had the same problem. Get some WD-40 or electrical contact cleaner, spray it into where the breakaway pin goes in. It it only normally two pieces of metal that touch when the pin is out. It sits for months or more and gets some corrosion on it. Spray it, put the pin in and out...

    Hello from PA!

Go find an empty parking lot and get some orange cones and practice. After a few times, you'll get the hang of it. For the first trip or two, try and get a pull-through site.  :) One less thing to worry about.

How much propane does a hot water heater use?

When we go camping, 4 people for a week, I usually don't even go through one 30# tank. I put the water heater on electric and gas so it recovers faster. Sometimes that might be multiple, quick showers during the day if we are at the beach and then are going out somewhere later on.

loud noise from hitch when towing tt.

My anti-sway bar groans at low speeds when turning, first time I heard it thought I ran over something! DO NOT grease/lube it. Mine is a friction system, supposed to be tight but move when it has to.

I-81 around Scranton and Wilkes Barre

I am in Dickson City, next town north of Scranton, and have been up and down I-81 quite a few times this month. Yes, permanent construction in this area, lane changes, etc. The only bad spot is going to be in the Pittston exit area. They have some concrete barricades dividing the lanes, maybe...

    Towing mirrors

I got mine at Cabella's, not sure if they still have them in the stores though. Got mine on clearance.

    Towing mirrors

I have a pair of the slide-on CIPA mirrors on my 97 Suburban. I don't get any vibration. Not as big as a lost of the other towing mirrors out there, but they have served me well. I always have a spotter when I am backing up, so mainly used for driving.

how to make sure tank gauges are working correctly

Mine does the same thing. My black has a sprayer in the tank that must hit the sensors because when I use it they will show empty. Took me 2 tanks, and a clear elbow I just bought, to make sure my black was clear after a trip this summer. Gray, always hit and miss. Sometimes it drains and I...

    East Coast beach camping?

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, we've been there 3 times and love it. Seems like you need to go to the Carolinas to camp on the beach, farther north most seem to be near the beach.
