ok, thanks. I would only run them both at night when nothing else was happening. Just thinking ahead. I'm boondocking this weekend and might need the extra ac. Hopefully the weather stays nice through the weekend and I won't need to.
My AC's are each on 20 amp breakers. My generator is an Onan Marquise 5500. 50 amps. Simple math says yes. Is there more to it I'm not thinking about? Thanks for any help.
Anyone? Talk to me. What did you do to secure them for transport? We are batting around the idea. We don't use the storage under them and there are no vitals under there so we'd like to swap out the booth for chairs. Anything I should look for when buying chairs? Thanks for your tips. Here's a...
Thanks for the tips. I haven't had a change to play with it yet. After dealing with the Hurricane and coming through it in good shape we had a normal thunderstorm that struck the house and blew up a lot of things. Hopefully I can play with it this week and I'll report back.
CGmartin, yes the...
Ok need some pointers here. I have the dash button to start the generator but it doesn't do anything. I can start the generator at the generator with that switch. Can someone tell me what wires go to the dash switch so I can start trouble shooting? It's a 2007 Georgetown by Forest River. It's on...
Thanks for checking in. We came through with flying colors. Everything went as well as you could ask. There is damage in the area but we escaped with just some small limbs down and a sleepless night. No damage, thanks for the ideas.
I was on here asking the same question about my RV. Good luck to you hope everything comes though ok. I've filled all my water tanks and am setting it up close to the house with the jacks down sharing the weight with the tires. I agree don't hook your truck to it. If it does topple you will...
Well this is dicey. Did you tell them you were evacuating? How long before your reservation did you cancel? If you feel that strongly let them know you won't be using them in the future.
Good stuff, these are the types of ideas I'm looking for. I didn't consider filling the grey and black tanks. I'm going to do that now. Unfortunately supplies are gone so covering it with anything to protect it won't happen. I could put the cover on it but I think that would just ruin the cover...
Well we aren't going anywhere. We aren't in an evacuation area so we are leaving that to the people that need to get out. Like I said above we are as prepared as we are going to get. Just hoping for the best now.
