New Consumer Report Toilet Paper Ratings

growing breasts . . . . Fresh from her shower, a woman stands in front of the mirror, complaining to her husband that her breasts are too small. Instead of characteristically telling her they are not, he uncharacteristically comes up with a suggestion: "If you want your breasts to grow, then...

    Buying first RV, I think

Leaving Thursday to probably purchase my first RV. I searched various sites for a long time and spent a lot of time on RV Trader. I limited my search to areas near me and where Allegiant Airlines flew. I always started my questions with, "Why are you selling your unit, and if I purchased it...

Class A with Gold Wing on trailer or 5th wheel toy hauler?

Sorry, to ruin your fun but here is how I carry my clubs. I've hauled them from ND to Minneapolis often, and once took them to Texas this way.

Class A with Gold Wing on trailer or 5th wheel toy hauler?

I am sure comparisons have been discussed here ad nauseam and if this has already been done sorry. Planning to go full time in the next 3 - 4 months. Will travel south in the winter and in the warmer months in Minneapolis area to be near children and grandchildren. My issue is how to best...

Do RVers typically have a CB radio installed?

They are inexpensive and nice to use when getting near unfamiliar urban areas for local information. A couple of years ago on a motorcycle trip, my gps took me through some very undesirable areas of Memphis as it was the quickest route. It was as scared as I have been in my life and the only...

    The Woodstock hippie generation

I knew of Woodstock but too far away for me. A few others heard of it too, as they had a crowd of about 400,000. Pretty sheltered growing up in small town North Dakota in the 60's and first heard of dope at college in 1969. Tried it twice didn't do anything for me and never tried anything...

Looking for golf advice from avid golfers

Golfnow looks interesting. Thanks for the tip. I think I will plan on the season pass in the warm months up north when I am back near my children and grandchildren and concentrate on sightseeing when I am more mobile in the winter.

    Deal's Gap - Smoky Mountains

I rode this on my Goldwing 3 years ago and would not want to meet or follow a large vehicle. I think North Carolina has banned trucks over 30 feet to operate on US 129 from US19/74 to the NC/TN State Line. Check out this website for some photos of what could happen.          ...

    North Dakota Oil Boom

Actually they have had two boom and bust cycles. A small one in the 50's that peaked in the mid 60's. The second was actually in the late 70's to early 80's. The price of a barrel of oil went up to $40.00 a barrel in 1980 and started slipping in 1984 and hit a low of $9.00 a barrel in 1986. The...

    How do they do it

I have mobile hotspot with Verizon. It was one of the first plans they had and I have an unlimited plan for $30.00 a month as long as I do no change my plan. It works great with 4g and 3g can be slow with multiple devices. The other night there were two laptops, and an xbox on it. My...

    North Dakota Oil Boom

Yes, it's crazy and going to stay that way for a while. The oil production here went over 1 million barrels a day a few weeks ago and estimates are that it will be over 2 million a day in ten years. The state has over a billion dollar budget surplus but there is also a huge increase in crime.

Looking for golf advice from avid golfers

I am looking for any advice or tips on ways to keep the price per round down for avid golfers. I am planning to start fulltime RV living this fall. I am an avid golfer and play 4 - 6 times per week. I can start in Alabama and purchase an annual pass for $1500.00 per year for the Robert Trent...

    Making acquaintances on the road

You just have to keep trying. I am from the friendly midwest and owned my own retail business and learned that if you want to get a conversation going find, something the other person wants to talk about. I have traveled quite a bit motorcycle camping, golfing, hunting, and vacations and can...
