Ford Transits are already used as base for smaller Class C's in Australia.

Probably one mighty reason we go for cassette toilets. You can wheel it away. A Dump Tank in the Australian summer is not a pleasant thought.

I think the Sprinter Store gets a lot of its components for the 4 X4 from Mercedes.

There are several other 4 x4 available as well, but they do not sell them in the US One specialized one is te IVECO Daily 4 x4 . It is more like a Unimog having  a staggering number of Forward gears. Can pull 8000lb and have a payload of 5,200lb Off Road...

Had one but used Rain-X instead of the Wipers. :-* A "Colani" design, like metallic dresses modeled in Haute couture fashion shows..totally impractical.
