Congratulations on the Bounder. We have used Amsoil products in all our vehicles since the early 70/s and would not even consider dino oils in anything.

I think it is time for the maintenance for the flush anyway that is why I suggested it and Spartan would be an excellent choice. Just be sure to discuss the problems you are having so they are aware and can look at other possibilities.
When was the last time the radiator/cooling system was drained, flushed, and new coolant added? I think that would be the route to take and have them replace the hoses as well as the thermostat. Cat can do it but Spartan might be a good place to have it done.
If used properly I would not consider Bearing Buddies or anything similar cheaters but in the case of boat trailers I think of them as added insurance. That is as long as normal repacking of the bearings is not neglected.

We have Bearing Buddies on the boat trailer and lube them frequently during the season. However, That does not elliminate the anual bearing inspection and repack.
