I am going to use solid metal ones, but I need to stabilize it in the aluminum wheel so the rubber valve stem does not come apart. I can only use the rubber/metal valve stem on the Mercedes Steel Wheels. Any ideas for stabilizers?
I have a Sprinter with the Alcoa Aluminum Wheels. I am trying to find stabilizers to use on these wheels to add valve extenders on the inner duals. Does anyone know of a stabilizer that will fit the elliptical openings on the Alcoa Wheels? I have already tried the WheelMan and Alcoa with no...
Our 2012 View J has a CCC if 1483. That includes rouge weight of a towed vehicle. We have a towing capacity of 5000 lbs. we tow a trailer at about 2500 lbs and 225 lbs tongue weight. We have to be mindful of CCC but there are just two of us and we do fine. We do our best to run with gray/black...
I have replaced ALL the interior lights and the exterior entry light with RVLED lights. I did this in two increments. All of the lights are working perfectly. They seem to have quality stuff. I did have an issue with packing on the second order. In fairness to RVLed.com, the order was...
This is a great write up. Very informative. I have a View with a 30 amp service. I would like to shed loads when hooked up to residential power. 15 amps is normal and occasionally 20 amp circuit is available. Any suggestions?
We are planning a similar trip in June/July next year. How bad were the ferry costs? I love your planning and may use it as a baseline.

Heads up cargo trailer buyers. I bought a new Road Force 10' cargo trailer.
Reality: the quality of the trailer wiring was terrible. After much troubleshooting I found wires cut tooo short then stripped too long and held together (sort of) with undersized wire nuts and taping that did little...
Does anyone know if anyone makes a 30-32 foot diesel class a or c that has a small area for a garage or toy hauler space for a motorcycle? I know there are some in the 40+ foot range, but looking for something smaller.

One other note of interest. Forest City will do seven items on drop in basis. When those are done you can get in line with another seven items. We did that in July and they were great.
Most dealers just suck. Nuff said.

Apparently corp saw too many managers using their veto for no reason. They have recently gone out to strengthen their resolve to support RVs. Also of note is their very fast response time if there is an issue. I continue to be impressed by these folks.
Walmart corporate recently restated their RV overnight policy to say that RVs can stay at ANY Walmart. We sent an email comment to their corporate email and they called us back within 24 hours. During the conversation they restated their policy. This holds at all Walmarts unless city ordnances...
I am considering adding an automatic load shedding system on our 30 amp Winnebago View. We frequently stop where 15 or 20 amp service is available. Any suggestions for best brands or places to buy? Intellitec seems to make one, but I can not find any data on the EMS 500. Progressive makes an...
