    Tire pressure monitor

Our EzeTire Monitoring system has saved our bacon about 5 times in the last 2 years and over 30,000 miles and I would never leave home without it.  I word of caution (learned the hard way) Never install them on rubber stems.  Be sure you change all your valve stems to short metal ones.  I have...

The Maine and Eastern Seaboard Trip, Just the Facts, Maam!

If you are still in Asheville and have some time, to up to Bristol, VA and check out the Crooked Road.  We spent some time there this past summer and loved the music scene.

We to appreciate your posts and Dianne's blog Sarge.  It was great running into you guys in Maine. It was a nice surprise to be parked just a few spots apart.  While we were there we got news from our daughter that she is to be married this weekend so we did an about face and are headed back to...

2016 Tucson to Tucson in 5 months and 12,000 miles

We have been back on the road for a while now so have been updating the website.  Also lots of photos on my FB link in my signature.  We are about 80 miles South of DC right now and plan to stay in the area for maybe a week.

    PDA/Net for Android

So far the best bang for the buck I have found is Straight Talk with a $55/mo plan on each of our 2 phones we have a combined data plan of 20 Gig/Mo. and no contract for a total cost of $110.  With that and some lucky park WiFi we seem to do okay. If we have no good park WiFi we cut our...

Thinking about towing a 41' pull behind....too long?

Thanks Gary, I just noticed that too this morning when I logged in.  I had not paid attention to the "bumper pull" part.  Yep, that will be a long rig.  Not that it is not doable but it will be long.

    PDA/Net for Android

I use FoxFi (paid version) on both our Nexus 5 phones and have never had trouble hot spotting them.  I connect it to Connectify Hotspot 2016 Max on our desktop in the trailer to create a local network that all devices can connect to ie: printer and other devices.  You can tell Connectify to make...

Thinking about towing a 41' pull behind....too long?

We pull our (measured) 38 foot, very heavy 5er with a 2001 F350 with no problems. I can not see where another few feet would make any difference.  The weak spot it in the rig will be your auto trans on the truck.  Get a trans temp gauge for your truck. We use an app on a 7" tablet and it talks...

    How fast

I pull our 5er at 60-62 mph.  We are in no hurry and it saves a lot on fuel.  Last yr on just under 12,000 miles we averaged 11.78 calculated mpg.
