Opinion: Remove or keep above-driver cabinets on Class-C? And replace with bed/desk/storage.

One of my helpful neighbors just showed me several places around the outside (not roof, but sides) that need to be re-sealed. A second opinion thought maybe there was a large water spill in that cabinet. Either way, I've ordered some dicor, and will learn some sealing. I also unscrewed what I...

Opinion: Remove or keep above-driver cabinets on Class-C? And replace with bed/desk/storage.

I decided I wanted the extra space badly enough. Well.... Yikes!!!! That drawer went straight in the trash. Vacuumed up what I could, and am currently airing out that area (and my RV). I don't see any signs of a roof-leak yet & the area wasn't wet (despite recent rains). My hope is that...

Opinion: Remove or keep above-driver cabinets on Class-C? And replace with bed/desk/storage.

Removing those cabinets would make the space so much more usable for me & a huge boost. It would probably make me much happier with my purchase. And I absolutely do need a desk-space very soon, so I can resume my work. However... ...after about 1-week in this RV, I've discovered several...

Opinion: Remove or keep above-driver cabinets on Class-C? And replace with bed/desk/storage.

It looks fine to me personally & thanks for sharing. I suppose the harder part is guessing what others might think, and/or if it would impact market-value at all. From a personal perspective, it seems like in it's current form, it's a lot of wasted space.

Opinion: Remove or keep above-driver cabinets on Class-C? And replace with bed/desk/storage.

I have a Class-C motorhome, 31ft. The area above the driver-seat is an entertainment-center and cabinets, but not very useful to me personally as is. I just removed the TV. My initial idea was to lay a board across the opening & use the area as a desk. However, with the TV removed & a...

    WALMART and Safety personal experience

    1. If necessary, and that option is always on the table. 2. This too, although it may not always work. 3. NEVER!!!!!! 4. Also if necessary, but realize it may take them a while to arrive, and you may need to exercise option 1. 5. Tell them "not interested" no matter what they ask or say, even...

Bidet Install & Vacuum Breaker in the Way.

Does the bidet inlet also need to be after the vacuum breaker?

Bidet Install & Vacuum Breaker in the Way.

I bought mine early pandemic, when toilet-paper shortages were happening. I paid about $300-ish. Now? I've only been back on toilet-paper for about 1-day, and it stinks. Smear, smear, smear. (ok, maybe not that bad, but once you go bidet, you never go back)

Bidet Install & Vacuum Breaker in the Way.

I'm trying to install a "fancy" electric bidet-seat-cover on my toilet (Bidet Link). When I remove the existing seat, there is a vacuum breaker which sticks up above the back of the toilet. The bidet-seat doesn't fit with that piece there. I need it moved back far enough, or moved down far...

No AC Power, Dead Inverter? Need Diagnosis Help & Recommendations

I found the part-number, Generac 090145, CIRCUIT BREAKER, 30 X 1 (60HZ). I found a supplier on eBay, but I'll check around locally, to see if I can find one a bit sooner.

No AC Power, Dead Inverter? Need Diagnosis Help & Recommendations

I'm actually surprised I don't need more power. Laptop may come later, but for now I think I like my desktop setup. I'll start a new thread when I'm ready for mobile internet discussion. Mine has a 30a cord/plug in the back of the RV, a long ways away from the generator (at the front). so...

No AC Power, Dead Inverter? Need Diagnosis Help & Recommendations

Haven't visited the RV yet, but I think it's this generator, or one very similar to it. There may be a manual in the RV, which I'll also check for. Generac Power Systems Guardian RV 004701-0 Quietpact 40LP I needed an excuse to buy a corded-drill, and I should have one later today to try the...

No AC Power, Dead Inverter? Need Diagnosis Help & Recommendations

No idea, how long it's been sitting, I'll try flashing it tomorrow. Quick Update: It appears power-usage ranges between 250 to 300 watts, for my desktop PC + 55" Monitor + 32" monitor. It's not as bad as I feared. The 55" Monitor uses about 75 watts, so I can kill that while "off-grid,"...

No AC Power, Dead Inverter? Need Diagnosis Help & Recommendations

I use an AeroPress, and have for years. It's somewhat like an upside-down french-press. I started the generator a couple hours ago, flipped all breaker-switches, made sure the 30a switch on the front of the generator was on, turned the red-switch next to the battery-shut-off in the on...
