    Bad tire wear--scrubbing or worse?

Yep, just different amounts of excess wear. I thought someone mentioned flipping them on the rims, which would put more tread on the inside edge, but I think they also questioned the value of paying for remounting and I agree about that. New ones feel a lot better. I tried to look at the...

    Bad tire wear--scrubbing or worse?

After cutting two OEM tires In the Yukon on my previous truck, I replaced the P-rated tires with Es. I was happy about that every time I hit an unavoidable pothole or construction dropoff, but worried about the trailer tires. I feel better about having the Ds now. The TP is a conundrum, with...

    Bad tire wear--scrubbing or worse?

I confess I went with what was available at the tire place that repacked the bearings. They are Ds, but I stuck with the 205s. I plan to keep an eye on them for terribly uneven wear, then have the axles looked at when we get home. After 10,000 miles for fall colors in '21, 9500 miles to...

    Bad tire wear--scrubbing or worse?

We have a 2014 Keystone Passport Ultralite and we're currently in Nova Scotia, ca 3,000 miles from home. I had the bearings repacked and found out the tires are wearing worse than I had realized, mostly on the inside. There's a little excess wear on the outside edge, suggesting they were...

Pump forces water out city H2O connection

After being hooked to city water for three days, the check valve is still not working! I will continue using the brass shut-off as a plug, then try pushing in the check valve sometime when it's not raining. Thanks for all the help.

Pump forces water out city H2O connection

Thanks for finding that. My quick search only found two/$7 or so. I'm usually pretty good at searching for deals, but Amazon has a (deliberately, I'm sure) terrible search function.

Pump forces water out city H2O connection

I happened to have a brass 1/4 turn valve with me, so I don't even have to stop at a hardware store! We're now in a park hooked to city water and I hope that will either push out any debris OR allow the one-way valve to seat properly. If not, I'll probably include a plug like you recommended...

Pump forces water out city H2O connection

Ours has a little rubber plug on a short leash, but it looks pretty bad from the dirt roads we’ve taken, so I’m not sure it’s keeping the dirt out. I do flush water through the hose before hooking it up partly to get the air out. before I hook up the hose I run a little water out of the tap to...

Pump forces water out city H2O connection

That’s great info. It seems like with filters and screens It would’ve been hard for any particles to get in there and lodge but maybe not impossible. Maybe something came out of the filter. I think I will just keep our temporary plug in there and see if hooking up to a city water hose tonight...

Pump forces water out city H2O connection

A new problem popped up when we got to our Boondocking site in Newfoundland. When the water pump comes on, it pushes water out of the connector where the city water would connect. I think it would’ve drained our freshwater tank in 10 or 15 minutes, but I blocked it with a Y that has a shut off...

I'm in the Newcomer's Corner- It says no dumb questions Black tank flush?

I am glad to know I am not the only one using the gray water that way. I think in step four you mean to open the Flush King valve as the black water valve is still open.

    EZ Pass or RV TollPass?

Edit: Now I see where your state is. That will teach me to post too fast. I'll have to see if I can get a Mass transponder for free or if that's only for Mass residents.

    EZ Pass or RV TollPass?

This is what I'm finding. "How much does an I-Pass cost. The I-Pass costs $30 to obtain along with a refundable deposit of $10. A further amount of $20 is to be deposited towards prepaid tolls. The minimum balance is $20 and the account auto-replenishes 10% of the average monthly usage or a...

    Obtaining DEF in Canada

Thanks for all the answers. I'll start out full, carry some extras (prob. cheaper in the US) and know I can find it if I need it. I now know I won't likely find it at the pumps. After having our trip cancelled for the last two years by COVID restrictions, we're hoping nothing gets in the way...
