It's nice to know that some campers are responsible, hospitable and friendly. I think most are.
I miss the days of Florida when I could go for a swim on New Year's Day.
Happy New Year!
Looks like a regular flex drain hose was attached to tank and run down below compartment to a bracket and a fitting. Was already installed on rig when we bought it. Would not have known it was addon were it not for raceguy549. He's pretty sharp! He just looked at the pictures and probably knows...
There are a lot of considerations regarding oil changes and intervals. I would like to add that the type of oil and the brand of oil filter makes a difference, too. I don't endorse any particular brand but a site that might be interesting to look at is: http://themotoroilsite.com. Some filters...
I think it is unfortunate that the RV licensing protocol is not explicitly written out at the DPS website and in the CDL manual. Exempt implies not needed and shrouding requirements in ambiguity is not helpful. Of all the drivers on the road RVers are probably the most law abiding and follow...
Now I that I got the CDL manual I see that the Class B is required on vehicles with GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or greater. This rig has GVWR of 10000 lbs. I guess that makes me legal without Class B after all. I was going by what friends told me.
I called the DPS toll free Courtesy Line. Guess she wasn't very knowledgeable. I appreciate your information. I think anybody driving an RV with air brakes should be knowledgeable of the system.
Downloaded form to get license to operate RV in excess 0f 26000 lbs. Called Austin and was told to get it notarized and take to DPS Drivers license office: no test, just pay for new license. Got to DL office and was told I have to take written and drivers test to obtain license. Does anybody out...
Just returned from Colorado and Grand Canyon. Your pictures are better than mine. We love Leadville and Mt. Elbert-hiked it several times. Thanks for the great pictures.
Also have a '95 Luxor. The 30A/50A switch above the stove only allows one of the two ac units to run on the 30A setting. With the 50A setting the second ac unit kicks in after a 30 second delay. It's been 104+ here in the sun and our ac has kept the temp below 80 hooked up to 50 amps. Hooked up...
Bought a '95 Luxor last year and have not had a similar problem. A/c quit and had to have a circuit board replaced ($500). I would make sure the drain on the a/c is letting the water drip out. I agree that the ductwork is hard to get to. We love our rv and live in it most of the time.
